Enjoy The Quiet: Live At Wacken 2012

This is a great cd/dvd set. I love Ministry & i have all 3 0of their albums. This is a great live show and concert on cd. The dvd has 2 sets from Wacken,1 of which is from 2012 and that concert is available on the 1st cd in the set. The 2nd set on the dvd is a Wacken show from 2006,which is also on the 2nd cd in the set. The 2012 set has excellent audio & song selection,2006 set is also great, with 14 songs on the dvd and you will love the setlist.only 4 songs from the 2012 set are played on the 2006 set.leaving 10 great new tracks & 4 of which are old Psalm 69 & Mind tracks. Trust me when i say this is a must have live dvd. I am not much on buying live cds but when it has a dvd i appreciate the show first then i play the cd. The album is amazing. Sound quality is perfect, just like the Defibrulatour cd/dvd set...it is great ! Highlights include Relapse,Ghouldiggers,Life is Good,Lieslieslies, 99% ers,Psalm 69,N.W.O.,Just 1 Fix,Khybar Pass, and Thieves. Must own for any Ministry fan. If you are new to them grab this & see the power of Ministry.

Being a Ministry fan for twenty five years I was excited to hear that the show from Wacken was going to be released. The set list is pretty good and the sound quality is great. I have seen Ministry live a few times and they are a lot of fun, this release is a good example of how tight the band is live but there is not a lot of banter from Al between songs, every time I have seen them he communicates with the croud. Overall this is a high energy release. The band was on point and the set list is played very well. I like that they close the set with three old songs that have not been on a live relase in quite sometime. If you are a fan I would say pick this one up as it is a good addition to any fans collection.

Really liked this live Ministry CD - more so than I did their 'Sphinctour' disc (see my review). Believe it was recorded while Al Jourgensen and crew was out on the 'Relapse' tour. Tunes here that more than make this CD (personally, I still prefer physical copies) a real keeper are the awesome opener "Ghoul Diggers", the jack-hammering "No W", "99 Percenters", the heat-riveting "Waiting" (sort of one of my personal Ministry favorites), the -total- ask-kicking "New World Order (N. W. O.) and the band's possible (?) anthem "Just One Fix". Superb hard industrial metal - to say the very least. Also available as a 2-vinyl lp. A must-have.

Music is phenomenal! If you like hard rock music you will love this

A fitting tribute to guitarist Mike Scaccia (who died December 23, 2012), by Al Jourgensen, his best friend and Ministry founder. This DVD is incredibly good. Ministry never disappoints, and this concert lives up to the high expectations held by Jourgensen and his fans.

BUY IT , OWN IT, WATCH IT ! MINISTRY ! 5 STARS

No 24 bit audio, no DTS, no TrueHD, no surround, just 2 channel 16/48 pcm. There is no problem with the sound, there just isn't anything Blu-ray about it. There is a 3 disc version with 2 cds and 1 dvd for less money that would make more sense to buy since this is basically just the dvd transferred to a blu-ray disc. Yes this video is higher quality but who cares, it's a music blu-ray and music should be its priority. I suppose you could get this if you want to see Al's pores up close and crystal clear.

MiNistry never disappoints! SOunded better than ever! Really hope this isn't it for uncle Al. This set captures the evolution of ministry

If you're a Ministry collector like myself then this product is a worthy purchase. 2 audio CDs and 1 DVD containing 2 concerts. Each one is professionally shot by Wacken and was broadcast in Europe. A better bonus is that each show is complete. The 2006 show only broadcast 2 tracks and there are 14 on the DVD. Unfortunately, each one is marred with technical problems. The 2012 performance has been re-edited with some visual effects taken from Ministry's onstage screens, which is fine, but the audio constantly shifts making it a bit of an annoyance while viewing. The 2006 show doesn't have this problem but suffers from a horribly mono soundtrack. Much of the guitars and samples are too loud and abrasive in the mix and a lot of the vocals and drums get lost throughout. It's a real shame since pro-shot Ministry shows are quite rare, especially full shows. The other downfall is that the audio CDs are direct rips from the video. While the 2012 show sounds great on CD the 2006 show comes off like a bootleg and can really hurt the ears when listening through headphones. But it's still a good purchase for what it is. The band are in great form for both shows and the price can't be argued. One word of caution: don't buy the Blu-ray! It only contains the 2012 show and the audio is out of synch as well.

If the dvd is poor on quality, the Blu Ray have a very good image and sound quality. The songs are very good, unfortunaly are very few, only 11 and with no bonus but Ministry is in a great form here, with Mike Scaccia on guitars, the band grows the metal power...is beautiful see him plays...a shame your premature death...but Ministry is on again and this is a big record of the band. It worths every peni for band fans.

Great album - super supply from Hot Records Bremen Al for President!
