API 1169 Pipeline Construction Inspector Examination Guidebook

I was a Utility Inspector for several years and decided it was time to get my actual certs. I took my API 1169 followed by my CWI then NACE 1. Since I had already been doing Utility work for a few years, I decided that I wasn't going to pay for the online class with Real Educational (like I did for the CWI, it's a much harder exam). I came across this book while killing time and browsing on Amazon and asked other Inspectors if they had heard of it. No one had heard of it but I figured that it couldn't hurt. It did a good job of preparing me for what the actual test would be like as well as providing a refresher in areas that I was a little bit rusty. If you already have pipeline inspection experience then I highly recommend this book to read over the week or so leading up to your exam. The test was a breeze, although there was alot more environmental stuff on the test so I recommend digging into that a little bit more.
