Sociology: A Brief Introduction 10th Edition

I'm going to explain one thing, and one thing very simply. Is this a good book?Well let me ask you this, is it a good book because you needed it for a class, or is it a good book because you'd actually read it, it's written well, provides sources and citations for ALL claims (it doesn't), and is in a format and is priced to your liking?If you answered no to any of the above, it's not a good book. That being said, a poorly written, rather repulsive book that barely does what it's supposed to that isn't worth the money, isn't going to stop you from buying this for a class. That's the aggravating thing here. I know that despite the fact that every review could be a 1 star review, people would still buy it because they need it for a class; all of which being despite how poorly it's written. Am I great at grammar in this review? No, but I'm not also trying to charge you $120.00 for the review either.Also, get with the times. An ebook for $50+? Get out.

I had to buy this text because I rented it from Amazon and spilled water on the product. I'm overall not disappointed about having to purchase this text. I find the book to be very well written, and the information in it can be interesting. I'm not even a Sociology major. One hundred dollars is a bit more than I would have liked to have spent, but I like this book.

In the past I have ordered multiple books for school claiming to be in good condition or almost new. I have paid the hefty price tag for them so expected good quality, but when my books arrived the pages were written all over and the high liter was very distracting... This was exceptionally great. None of that nonsense! Nice and clean crisp pages and I didn't pay full price for book!

Overall very helpful for my Sociology class. The book is well written and easy to follow. It helps to do the chapter reviews.

I ordered this book @ 730p and received it the next day! I'm pleased and slightly biased because I worked @ Amazon for years so I knew it would be a great purchase 😆
