Worth it if you’re upgrading from built in speakers
Im not an audiophile just your average consumer. I bought these speakers for gaming as the new computer monitor I bought had no built in speakers. I have to say that the difference between my old monitor’s 5W stereo speakers and these speakers is stark and noticeable. The most noticeable difference being the range. My old speakers almost seemed to miss out on audio details I am only now just experiencing. There is less emphasis on the highs and the midrange is now present. The adjustable gain is also handy. Bass is overemphasized in most of the content I play so being able to adjust this through hardware is great. The amplifier system seems okay to me. No hissing or staticky sounds at high volumes. So sound quality is above board and I would think power delivery too. Bluetooth paired easily with my system but I opted for hard wiring when I realized I did in fact have the right adapters for my pc. These speakers would be a great choice for anyone who is upgrading from built in speakers for sure. While I do suspect people with more knowledge on audio to have some valid criticism, for me they are just about perfect.

I love these little guys
I'm not an "audiophile" nor do I do recording. But I'm a bit snobby and pretty picky. I hate that most speakers and headphones accentuate bass or treble too much and I miss my mids. I had a pair of Edirol (Roland) monitors that I loved but they died and are no longer made, so I ended up going with these. I waited a while to post this review. I think I've had them 6 months or so. Sometimes initial impressions don't pan out, and practicality takes time to judge. I love these speakers more than my old ones. Very flat response to my ears. As close to my ATH-M50 headphones as I imagine I'd ever get w/ bookshelf sized speakers. High hats come through great, bass is very reasonable, and the midrange tones aren't washed out. Working from home for COVID, they've been pushed into duty as my primary computer speakers and do really well at that too. Going from video conferencing to listening to music doesn't require software EQ changes for either. I didn't think the Bluetooth would be handy, but I've used it a lot with my phone to play music and later paired an Alexa with it. I handles the computer being plugged in and the multiple bluetooth devices without any hastle. And the audio quality via Bluetooth sounds fine to me, unlike any headphones I've tried (I probably just haven't been willing to spend enough there). If you want booming bass, then these are probably not for you. You'll need bigger woofers or a sub. But I listen to a wide variety of music, and it all sounds right to me. It's not so much that I ever think "wow, these sound so great," it's that I never cringe thinking they sound wrong. I'm an "album guy" from being a kid with records, tapes, and CDs. I've listened to a lot that I have memorized through these. These are albums where when the gap between songs is off from the original media I have a moment of confusion, I couldn't listen to MP3s of in the early 2000's because they sounded "wrong", or I haven't been able to tolerate on road trips because the car stereo + highway noise kills the mid range. This is a list of some albums I had ingrained in my head before I got these and have enjoyed through them. Because I am an omnivore, one or more might be relevant to you: - Booker T. and The MG's discography - Can's "Tago Mago" and "Ege Bamyasi" - Gojira's "Magma" - Husker Du's "Zen Arcade" and "New Day Rising" - Johnny Cash's prison albums - Kendrick Lemar's discography - Kraftwerk's "Autobahn" and "Trans-Europe Express" - Massive Attack through Mezzanine - Meat Puppets II - Metallica through the "Black Album" - Nirvana's discography - Pavement's discography - Portishead's original albums - Slint's "Spiderland" - Stevie Wonder's "Talking Book" through "Songs in the Key of Life" - Talking Head's first three albums and "Stop Making Sense" - Television's "Marquee Moon" - The Beatles' discography - Wu-Tang's "36 Chambers" and the GZA's "Liquid Swords" - Yes's "Fragile" These little speakers met my expectations in audio quality for the bookshelf size, and exceeded my expectations for ease of use with multiple inputs. Months later, I am very happy with a purchase I was very nervous about.

Excellent Bluetooth Speakers
These speakers Rock! Great depth of sound, bass and clarity! No remote but no nonsense. Bluetooth is easy, press and hold button in the back to put into pair mode. So far they have paired well with many devices, old and new, easily! I love that I can have stereo sound sent to them over Bluetooth, reducing the wires in the house. Only one pair of wires go between the two speakers, and you plug the main one into a wall outlet. Very nice bass and treble controls, as well as a volume control. All turn easily but not too easily, just right. There are many jacks for line in and Mic, as well as headphones! Very expensive feel to these, yet they are affordable!

Great Buy
My overall rating is 4.5. I think there's amazing value with these speakers and I'm a fan. Rich, quality sound. Easy and stable Bluetooth connection to any of my devices – simply hit the connection button on the back of the left speaker when pairing a device. My only hesitation on this review is that I hear static, at times, when listening to music or a podcast. Not often, but noticeable. I wish I knew how to resolve that issue. Would love to learn the fix. I'd recommend buying these, if a friend were asking.

My Second Set of Eric’s E3.5 Studio Monitors
This is the second set of PreSonus E3.5 speakers that I’ve purchase for our home studio. We pair these with the PreSonus Sub8 which is a killer combination. I actually use one of the sets as electronic drum monitors and they’ve held up well and does the job while recording. Make sure if you get these to buy the correct balanced cables, that makes a big difference with a cleaner sound. For the price these are a the best value for the sound and quality. I’ve tried other brands that just didn’t have the balanced sound or crisp highs that these have. One note, if you use these with the PreSonus Sub8 or other sub, the source from the bluetooth input does not run through the sub which was a bummer but I can understand why.

Best Monitor Speaker for the money...But know this first!
This is most likely the absolute best pair of monitor speakers that you are going to find for under $200. The setup is simple and the sound is excellent for desk level type use. With that being said, I decided I wanted to add the Iris Sub 8 and ran into a snag. You cannot directly connect the Presonus 3.5BT speakers to the Iris Sub 8. You will require a bluetooth controller to accomplish that feat. I purchased the Presonus MicroStation and a couple of pair of balanced TRS cables. Once I connected the TRS cables from the Main Out on the Microstation BT to the TRS inputs on the 3.5BT speaker, and one TRS cable from the Microstation BT to the Iris Sub 8 (top right on the BT to the left input on the inout side of the Iris Sub 8. I then went into my settings and connected to the Microstation BT after pressing the pair button. I could view it immediately and it definitely sounds much better with the subwoofer.

Recomendo
G**.
It’s a great value for money. Good and clear studio-kind sound quality. One can hear smallest music instruments. Good bass! Very apt for home studio. For a larg le setup this will be too small. It is perfect for my 10 x 4 home studio.

Non così buoni come i miei monitor NH7 che costano 10 volte di più… Ma una qualità eccezionale per un prodotto di questa categoria a questo prezzo. Decisamente da comprare.
