Q: Is the sensor uncomfortable for the children to wear?

It's not really uncomfortable as such, because it just clips on to the outside of their underwear, so it's not in direct contact with the skin. It's more just a matter of the child getting used to the feeling of it being there, but I wouldn't say that takes too long at all.

Q: Can you get a second transmitter to go in parents room at the start, when we will probably need to go in and help him/wake him?

Hi there, The alarm instructions advises that the parent sleeps in the same room for the first week. I had a blow up bed in our son's room which worked well, then after a week our son would wake us up to say the alarm had gone off. However he starting to get dry within 2 weeks using this method. We also used a pull up over his pants to prevent the need to constantly change the sheets at night. Hope this helps.

Q: How do you recharge the transmitter? I know the receiver needs batteries that can be changed if needed. Thank you.

The transmitter uses 2 AAA alkaline batteries not rechargeable battery.
