Fantastic deal
Quiet, powerful exhaust fan. Using it for a whole house circulation. The remote can be interfaced with a microcontroller generating a pwm signal, for extremely powerful and customized control.

They move a lot of air and are reliable.
This is my second one of these (12"). Not because the first one broke but because I had an additional project. They are relatively quiet and push a lot of air. One has been running an exhaust for my metal shop for over 3 years and still works flawlessly. The second is running a DIY air cleaning system that I put in my woodshop -- barely hear it in the attic and, again, pushes a ton of air. Recommend.

Purchased for my glassblowing / lampworking setup
I purchased the 8spd setting basic model Cloudline 12in (not humidity controlled) . Its a powerful beast.. Of course AC infinity's inline duct fans are as quiet as you can get for what they are. I needed a high static and cfm fan for my hood at my glasstorch table.. It runs nearly 24/7 for months now at setting 3-4.. then setting 7 when working this way i maintain air current in building 1 direction further increasing safety of glass dust ect. . Will be disassembling for a routine clean soon but honestly this thing has worked great for me. passed every smoke test and has maintained good pressure for quite awhile in a workshop environment. Meeting and exceeding my needs so far. . Ive used ac infinity for many projects requiring airflow.. Hope their quality never changes cause so far they have a fanboy in me.. pun intended.. :D

1600 cfm of goodness
Read: if you have a 12โ supply line running it the upstairs of your home and the air conditioner just isnโt pushing the air to the registers, get this!!! Installed one in a 2700 sq ft two story home with the furnace in the basement, there is now measurable air reaching the entire top floor. And the best part is you cannot hear it from outside the utility/mechanical room, even when running at full power.

Good choice
I really like the volume of air this fan moves. I use it for a whole house fan when the air outside is cool! It is very quiet on the lower settings.

Works as advertised
Added some ductwork in my house two years ago to help distribute the heat from the woodstove. This fan running 24/7, 6-7 months out ofthe year. Well worth the money compared to the units at H/D or Lowe's.

Does not fit any 12 inch duct work
These are good fans, and the controller is a nice feature. BUT the problem is that the inlet and outlet openings are NOT compatible with 12 inch duct work of any kind. I called their customer service and they acknowledged the issue but they do not offer a fix. The openings on both ends are closer to 12-1/4" and no 12" duct work or flexible ducts will fit over the outside. And the inside tapers in pretty quickly so you can't insert the duct there either. We had to make a custom solution - we bought some heavy duty rubber sheeting 1/8" thick by 3" wide by 3.5 ft long and used hose clamps around that. Be careful if you do this as many of the 12" hose clamps do not open up large enough to go over the rubber on top of these connections. The ones provided with the fans have extra length and will go over the rubber, but if you buy them separately they may not be big enough. Select them carefully.

Lazy product
I bought this to replace an existing failed 12" inline boost fan for a home ventilation system. I'm going to be quite critical because I'm comparing against another EC fan. A summary of my review is that I think this is quite a lazily designed product to be demanding such a high price (ยฃ350). More professional options are not that much more expensive, but offer far greater quality. This seems to be an example of a compact EC motor being slapped into a shell designed for a bulky AC motor. The benefits of a smaller, energy-efficient motor are not taken advantage of. First off, it does work and sort of meets some of the basic claims. It can be controlled by PWM - if you replace the silly USB-C cord (I take personal offence to this inappropriately used connector for 10-volt PWM signals). I connected this up to a Shelly for WiFi speed control. It does move a lot of air at the top speed and can be slowed down to a very quiet level. The next thing anyone will note is how loud it is. The volume at full-speed is expected, and it can run very quietly at low RPMs. However, everything in-between is kind of closer to the louder-end of what I hope and expected. While installing, I found the 12" diameter to be a bit of a loose claim (heh). This doesn't follow the normal conventions expected from other 12" ducting products. Specifically, the outer diameter of the inlet/outlet is 300mm rather than the usual 312-315mm, this means that existing 12" ducting was more than just very loose. It's a good thing that I decided to replace the mains cord, because it seemed the cable grip had badly crushed the cord. These sorts of fans are always marketed for hydroponics (hmm...), but one thing I noticed quite taking a closer look was the general lack of sealing. If it does meet IP44 specs, it does it very barely. I don't expect this to survive much condensing humidity.
