1948 Caldecott winner, which I'd recommend. Suspenseful for young ones.
This is a Caldecott-award-winning book first published in 1948. It is a black-and-white illustrated book that has suspense. It is about a human mom and her little one, and a mom bear and her cub. The little ones accidently start following the opposite mom, but all turns out well. If you're reading to a child, I'd recommend age 4 to 2nd grade. If the child is reading on their own, I'd recommend for grades 2 and 3. It's a nice book to have in your child's library!

gentle, nature based book for our 3yo
This book is beautifully written and illustrated. We use this book in our homeschool curriculum for my almost 3yo (based on treehouse schoolhouse curriculum). It is so much fun to reenact with our child and connect with the story by blueberry picking and making jam. Blueberries for Sal is a truly loved book in our home.

A classic just as good as when it was written 75 years ago. It’s appealing to both kids and adults alike.

Recomendable.

A lovely book
A lovely book with the charm of the olden days. Lovely illustrations as expected and a good quality paper! Would love to collect more in this genre! I love how this subtlely speaks of how we share resources with other creatures! A lesson we certainly we need to learn and teach the younger ones.
