Boot kept me from being sidelined
Arrived quickly! I just wore this on a mildly sprained ankle for a solid week at an outdoor festival where I worked. I walked slowly on miles of lumpy, bumpy uneven ground, and this boot totally saved my ankle from getting any worse. It's super sturdy and functional, with strong velcro, optional air compression, reasonably comfy footbed, and a rolling base that withstood the rigors of uneven ground beautifully. Im glad we spent the extra on this boot to make the festival experience doable, or I would've been entirely sidelined.

Supportive, Comfortable, and Durable Walking Boot
The Aircast AirSelect Walker Brace/Walking Boot is excellent! It provides strong support and stability for foot or ankle injuries, making walking much more comfortable during recovery. The adjustable straps and air cushioning allow for a customized fit, and the boot feels sturdy yet not overly bulky. I’ve found it to be durable and effective at reducing pain while protecting the injured area.

Nice product does what it promises
Nice product does the job comfortable, stable but if you’re gonna spend the money buy the Elite. I got that one first in a small but needed a medium was not going to be able to get the medium in time to leave for vacation. So I thought thats fine I will get the other cant be that much of a difference I was wrong. The elite the bottom has a much smoother roll to it so much more comfortable to walk in. The other one even though it was slightly to short in the toes fit so I took a walk around the house it worked great. The cheaper while it functions fine does not have as smooth a gate as the elite (no I am not getting paid for this review yes my opinion is real).

Good for large calves, adjusting pressure on the go
After I sprained my ankle badly, I needed something more than an ACE wrap but less than a full cast. This aircast fit the bill. I couldn't figure out the difference between the 'Elite' and the 'FP Foam,' so bought the Elite because it was a hair cheaper, honestly. It turned out to be a great choice, because this one allows you to instantly adjust the pressure of the air cushions that provide support in the cast, whereas from the images, the FP required a little hand pump to adjust the pressure. I'm fairly tall and quite heavy with an ankle that was pretty blown out, so I needed a lot of pressure to provide good support for walking. However, the same amount of pressure was intolerable when sitting, and my job requires a great deal of both, switching at least every hour or so, so the ability to change pressure without having to carry around a little pump was A++. My calves are a bit under 19 inches in circumference, so I also knew not every aircast would be able to accommodate that. Another reviewer said this was good for wide calves, and I found it perfectly serviceable, too. Comfort? The padded interior was nice, and the foot bed was comfortable. However, the air cushions go behind your ankle as well as beside it, so in order to get the strongest pressure on the side of my ankles, I had to pump up the cushions so that they mashed the front of my lower shin into the lower strap, too. Since that area was also slightly bruised from my epic ankle twist, this was quite unpleasant. Still, the product does what it needs to and accommodates my fat calves, so I consider it well worth it (the same product was 2.5x as much on healthcare goods websites that I saw). If the front of your lower shin isn't bruised and/or you don't need a high level of support, it's probably comfortable, too.

Great deal, same as hospital one but cheaper
I saved hundreds of dollars buying this here instead of through my hospital. It is the exact same brand and style as the one my hospital carries.

Best of Three
Of the three boots I've worn, this one works best as a walking boot. I'm recovering from surgery on a severely broken ankle. After the surgical dressings and splints came off, my surgeon put me in a big black Frankenstein boot. I thought it was poorly designed -- it weighed a ton, and the metal bars that ran up each side, pressed on the surgical sites on my anklebones. I now know that it was probably the best available option for post surgical recovery, because of the soft body with it's good inflation and size flexibility. After two months, when I was allowed to begin putting weight on my ankle, I began looking for a boot that would be easier to walk in -- something smaller and lighter, with a thinner, more shoe-like sole. I decided on an Ossur Rebound. My son wore one last year for an ankle sprain/tear. I wear a women's size 8, have a fairly narrow foot, damaged ankle, and normally a muscular calf (which has shrank during convalescence to a smaller than average size). His medium was huge on me, so I didn't hesitate to order the small recommended by their size chart. This was a bad choice for me. The boot was long enough, but very narrow; especially in the ankle and calf. It was light, and the most shoe-like of the walking boots, so the small would be fine for someone up to about a size 7, with a narrow foot and small calf. Then there's a big gap to the next size -- I wouldn't recommend an Ossur medium for anyone under a women's size 10. It was a fairly expensive bad choice, because I had to pay shipping both coming and going, and a 15% restocking fee. I replaced it with this Aircast. The sizing is different, so I went with a medium. It fits Ok, it's medium weight, has decent traction, and I can walk in it. I can also pull the leg of most of my pants down over it. I had to roll them up above the black cam boot. Buy a wool felt insole, and the loose cotton Aircast tubesocks to wear with it. This will make it more comfortable, and help with perspiration. The biggest problems with it are that it's hot, and has a hard "lip" at the back that has bruised my other shin if I try to cross my leg, or turn over carelessly at night.

Fraud
I returned it back and still waiting for refund. The product I recieved was very low quality and not an aircast by any means.
