Reminds me of my childhood in England. They were delicious then and they are just the same and just as delicious today.

Nostalgic candy from my granny that used to travel to England and bring back treats. Not 100% fresh. But they did cross the ocean. Didn’t stop us from eating them for sure.

Growing up as a child, my Aunt from England would mail these delicious candies with our Christmas gifts. I looked forward to it every year and now as an adult I am able to have them any time that I like. They are flavored with real juice and the medium chewy texture is safe on dental work. I have a bag in my bedside side table at all times.

Darling hubby never wants anything for his birthday, Christmas or Father's Day and that makes it so difficult for the rest of us. So this year we bought a bag of these for Father's Day along with some other goodies from England. He went through the whole... "you shouldn't have" but it certainly didn't take him long to rip open the bag. He grew up on these as a kid and knows that the first one you go for are the black current pastilles. So, if you have a hard to buy for guy in your life... give these a try and while you are at it, order yourself a bag as well. Chances are that he won't share!

Oh, I miss the days when an essential to carry with me on Britrail or while roaming around UK,I HAD to have Rowntree Pastilles with me. Nothing satifsied more or had longer lasting flavor.I especially like the black currant flavor, but all are great.
