Great replacement but, you may not need a new one. There is a small metal contact on these units that must make contact with the metal housing of your firepit. Remove your original, bend this contact out a little, clean with an emery paper or nail file, if necessary, and reassemble. Check to see if it works. After installing this one, I decided to experiment. I did this and tested my old one, which bothered me as it had only been used a total of two times, and put it back in to find it still worked. I'll keep this one as a spare.

All I needed was the button in this package for my Abbyson (Costco) fire chat table that was given as a gift. The button was defective and after reaching out to the fire chat table company numerous times they were useless in helping me. They wouldn’t even let me buy the button from them.This item was perfect and with a push of a button it lights right up! I will keep the igniter piece in case the manufacturer’s one fails.
