telescping length, metal stays cool - we love these!
We love these roasting sticks! The telescoping aspect allows me to store them in a kitchen drawer between uses. One positive I wasn't expecting is that the metal stays surprisingly cool so I don't have to worry about kids burning themselves when they touch it. The double prongs have kept gooey marshmallows from falling off into the fire as well.

Great roasting sticks
These roasting sticks are awesome! Compact, they are great space savers for car/tent camping, and they beat trying to find a good roasting stick out in the wild, especially if you arrive at your destination in the dark. You can roast a couple of marshmallows or one hot dog at a time. The telescoping feature is smooth and the wood handles don't get hot. Highly recommend!

Well constructed & worth the money
I wish we had bought these years ago. They put our old straightened out coat hangers to shame. I like the telescoping feature, but the main selling point were the wooden handles and the heavy duty construction. They extend long enough that my kids can safely roast marshmallows or hotdogs in our fireplace without getting too hot or too close to the flame. They hold a hotdog without bending or bowing and we recently used them for jumbo giant marshmallows. My daughter likes to thread mini marshmallows on both prongs and do several at once. They clean up well, too. I'm really happy with these.

I like 'em!
Great for roasting marshmallows and hot dogs. They're not as sturdy as I was hoping for though. Tried to roast 2 hot dogs on one stick and it made the metal arc and bend. But, that's not as important to me as having it retract into a nice little fork that fits in a drawer. I like 'em!!

SKEWERS!!
Well, these skewers are adorable BUT more like fondue sticks than outdoor marshmallow roasters. I will keep and use them but will have to be careful not to bend or break them. I would say I am satisfied but not overly satisfied.

These are awesome roasting sticks! They are sturdy and love that they extend so far, keeping our grandchildren away from the fire. You won't be disappointed. Get customer service as well. They included (in an email) a free S'mores guide with many different recipe options. My family loved that!

Awesome roasting sticks!
I love these roasting sticks! They are great for kids & adults to roast marshmallows or hot dogs over a campfire. They are long enough to keep you safely away from the fire and break down easily to pack away. What a great idea!!!!

they're a great buy!
Decent sticks for roasting foods over fire. Strong enough to cook 6oz tuna steaks, but the 32" length includes the handles (which a little short for my liking, otherwise 5 stars). The handles felt a little flimsy at first, but worked well and didn't get hot -- but at ~$4 per stick, they're a great buy!
