Mind Reader: Unlocking the Power of Your Mind to Get What You Want – A Mentalist's Secrets for Boosting Creativity

I think Lior Suchard did an awesome job sharing information in this book. I believe he DOES explain what he does and how he does it - to the best of his abilities. Some things are hard to explain in words - you have to experience it yourself to fully understand these abilities. I actually learned what is possible by reading about his performances - and how he focuses his mind like a laser to be able to do what he does. Lior gives a lot of information, including sharing steps and practices to teach us how to connect with our own intuition. There are a lot of fun mind games in the book - which show us how limited our perception can be if we don't stretch beyond our learned mental habits. He has practiced using the power of his mind to a greater degree than most of us have - which is why he can do what he does with such amazing skill. I learned a lot from his stories - his childhood through present time. I'm amazed by his feats at his shows - so I'm glad he shared them. We all have greater abilities to use the power of our minds and the true power of life energy (chi) - and I'm inspired by the fact that Lior is willing to demonstrate proof of that! If you're thinking that what he does is just tricks or sleight of hand and you want to know how he does it - this isn't your book. What he does is use natural abilities that we all have - not tricks or illusions. He's not a magician. We just haven't exercised our potential and abilities fully. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I learned a lot about how to expand our minds and our abilities. The information IS in this book! I also love watching his videos. If you haven't seen him read minds and perform telekinesis - go to Youtube and watch him in action! He's amazing - the real thing!! (And I should know. I do similar work for a living.) Thank you Lior for being courageous and showing us what we are capable of accomplishing with our consciousness! (I also like that he doesn't have an issue with skeptics. Too bad about "closed minded" people - but as Richard Bach says "Argue for your limitations and they're yours." For the rest of us - going beyond previously held limiting beliefs about what is or isn't possible has been a trait of all great explorers, inventors, creative minds and forward-thinkers.

At first I was very disappointed that the book itself doesn't reveal any big secrets or whatever, but considering again, I think he does a pretty good job of explaining to us the principles of how he does his performances. How would you explain what VISION is like, to a BLIND person? Do you think you can? Or what our 3D world is like to a cartoon character living in his 2D sketchbook life? It won't be that easy.. and that's the vibe I got from his writing. I think he definitely has the "i just know." sense that we do not possess, and tries very hard to explain this, and convey that idea through this book. Also, the more I do research on him, it sounds to me that in order to become as good as him, I needed to start from a very young age, which I'm already 23 years old just getting into mentalism.. disappointing because it probably means it's too late for me to develop this 'sense'; I am very jealous of people like him who got fascinated with mind reading from the age of 5 ish, lucky enough to develop this sense since childhood. Still, an interesting book :)

I read this whole book in one sitting, and it has been decades since I have done that. Suchard explains how to get started as a mentalist, which is ten minutes of meditation every day, plus learning as much as you can about related fields. He lists five or six books that he found helpful, and I am going to buy and read every one. And I am going to start my meditation tomorrow. After reading his book, I feel more excited about my life than I have in a long time. In addition, I have just ordered from Amazon two introductory books about getting your chakras working on all cylinders. I will be buying more.

Lior is very entertaining in this book and on a stage. The book is well written and even has suspense (the creating of which Lior is a master). However, the book gave me little or no information about "unlocking the power" of my mind. Lior kept joking that he'd have to kill all of his readers if he told us the secret of his powers suggesting a magician's trick...That is disappointing.

This was a fun book to read, and also learned allot about how much more I can use me "full brain". The book is written for anyone to read very lighthearted and so refreshing, content should be practiced and taken seriously but if you are in sales, HR, or customer service great information to be used to help you read your customers become better at what you do.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this book. It does not unlock anything, save for some very old and out of date research. 90% is just a rehash of his performances, relating how `great' everyone thought he was. There are no insights into his actual performance, and of course, he does not give any insights into his tricks - as he writes - otherwise he would have to kill you. I doubt highly that Mr. Suchard can read my mind, because if he could, he would hear me thinking loud and clear - I want my money back.

Nice story about his show and about himself. And having said that that is what this is book about, about Lior. If you are looking fore answers how to do it, this is not the book. It is nice entertaining that's it

Great read...this book will leave you believing you are capable of all your dreams. Thank you Lior for your inspiring work and incredible positivity and demystifying what you do and how you do it. You show us that what/how you do what you do is nothing to be feared but reveared. Bravo!

A must read as a mentalist myself I enjoyed it I have no idea how he does some things

This book is nothing more than a glorified advertisement to come see one of his live shows. He writes as if he has the power to stop clocks, read minds, bend spoons etc. As if we all don't know these are magicians tricks. Give it a rest. Very disappointing. You won't learn anything here but what a deceitful schmuck the author is. Don't waste your money.

Un livre instructif quant au destin hors du commun de Lior Suchard. Il est doté d'une volonté de fer pour dompter sa pensée et matérialiser ses rêves. Son enthousiasme est contagieux. It's a feel-good book where Mr Suchard's energy picks you up and lifts you up. Reading it just for the positivity boost is worth it.

El libro está lleno de anécdotas, si divertidas, pero que en nada ayudan a liberar el poder de tu mente. Después de leer varias páginas sobre los shows que da Lior en las Vegas, da un consejo para liberar el poder de la mente, pero si tú ya tienes algunos conocimientos, entonces no te dirá nada nuevo. La verdad, no lo recomiendo.
