adidas F50 Pro Lite Shin Guard

I have used these shin guards for over 2 years now and I really love them. I hate the full shin guards because they cause blisters and are uncomfortable. When I played, I never really used the sleeves because I had tight socks and they'd stay in place. These are also very light compared to the full on shin guards. I took a full kick to the shin in which no bruise resulted and sometimes I like to pretend these are hammers since they're so solid. I have only scratched the paint a little so far.

The image shown and the product received are not the same. Kind of a scam. I was lucky that I received my money back.

First I'll say I love these things. They stay in place, don't cause me to itch, and when I take a shin kick, I hardly feel it. The sleeve keeps the guards right against your shin at all times, but it still easy to put on and take off, so long as you haven't put your cleats on yet.I would give them 5 stars, but being that I'm 6'3", they only cover a fairly small area of my massive shin. I'd say that anyone over 5'10" will have the same issue, but if what you want is a good light weight shin guard, this is worth considering anyway.Those who want ankle protection might look elsewhere.

My 13 year old son Loves these. He has always worn the full shin guards that go under the foot to stay in place and was worried these would not work, but wanted an option to take his cleats and shinguards off right after play. These are perfect, the black "sleeves" allow them to stay in place. You MUST wear the sleeves to keep them in place, as without them, they do slip. Highly recommend

item great.sizing difficult for us to do via internet. easier to do with a variety of shinguards and sizes IN STORE

i figure they'd work for the right person, but not for me .. the sleeve is not something that the guard fits into, it's just a compression high sock without the foot .. you put the shin guard between the sleeve and your leg .. the back of the guard looks like styrofoam and made my son's shin sweat after wearing them around the house for 30 minutes .. i suppose if someone wore socks under and over the guard and sleeve, that might work .. the sleeve wasn't tight so i don't know how they'd hold up without a tight outer sock .. seeing these on him, i'd like to have the extra ankle protection i'm used to with the full holster guardsizing on this stuff blows .. small and large? what does that mean? for a grade school kid or an adult, a woman, what?the description bothers me too, since it's a waste of my time to order and return because of an inaccurate or nonsensical accounting of the product .. here's what it says:"Soft synthetic lining."-on the sock, the guard or both .. and synthetic means that it's not cotton?"High comfort. Hard shell. Highly protective front plate."-would anyone make a shin guard they didn't think was comfortable or protective .. good that it's not soft i guess"Slip-in construction."-slip in what? a pocket that's built into the black part?"Lightweight construction without strapping."-lightweight compared to what? would anyone buy a heavy shin guard?"EVA soft and durable cushioning backing material."-what the heck is EVA and what's the 'backing' material, the styrofoam?"Compression sleeve for support of blood backflow to the center of the body and easy fixation tool for the guard."-so it only supports backflow, not first flow, and if so, how does that work .. really?-a 'fixation tool' for the guard? my goodness, i think they're talking about the rubber lines that run on the sleeve .. like print on a t shirt, the sleeve doesn't stretch as much therei think whoever was in charge of advertising didn't have English as a first language .. just sayin'i don't care to be so picky, but i also don't like to waste time on products that could be much better described .. hopefully i can save someone else's time .. i rely heavily on Amazon member reviews and try to return the favor when i can

I bought these for my 10 year old son that is built like a man.He loves them and they work really well. The only issue that we have with them is that his soccer socks don't fit over them. They must be thicker than some other shin guards that he has had.I think that they also run a bit small. As big as he is, I still can't believe that my 10 year old's legs are almost too big for a Men's size M.
