Guittard Semi Sweet Chocolate Bars for Baking
This is a premium brand and the product was certainly all that. I used it to make an orange chocolate glaze for a Brazilian Carrot Cake and it tasted great, melted well and was an overall pleasure to work with. My wife was not as big of a fan as I was however and told me the 64% cacao content was too bitter for her and she's a chocoholic! I recommend this product overall even though I won't be using it the next time I make this carrot cake recipe for my wife. The 2 oz. bars made measuring easy, the product was packed well and arrived quickly and in good condition.

Favorite baking chips
My family’s favorite baking chocolate. Because of the price (though it’s great value), this is the “fancy chocolate” that I use for my baking and the chip’s perfect size, texture, and meltability make a huge difference. I usually mix these smaller-size chips with some bigger chunks of the Guittard chocolate bricks for textural difference. Besides the flavor and quality, I love that the chocolate has relatively low sugar, looks great when shredded on top and bitten into, and of course that Guittard is a Fair Trade company.

Quality chocolate
Guittard is maybe my favorite baking chocolate. It’s a little pricey but the quality is obvious after using. It has a rich flavor and texture. Will buy again

Perfect gooeyness and flavor
Delicious bakers chocolate, you could eat it as a snack too. Not too bitter not too sweet. Used it as ganache with some heavy cream. Easily melts with a little coconut oil and there’s a lot of it for many preparations.

Old chocolate!
Old chocolate. The chocolate bar is unwrapped was white and tasted awful. I am so disappointed.
