Grumpy Old Bugger Irish Stout Home Brew Beer Kit 40 Pints

This stout kit arrived quickly and in good condition. The yeast sachet was included (glued onto the underside of the pouch). This stout is ok when brewed as per instructions, but as it is really good as a stout to "play" with by adding other flavours. Pretty good when adding a bit of coco powder or dark chocolate. The last batch I did had 300g of ovaltine added to it, and it turned out really nice.

Not used it yet sure it will be ok.

Quite impressed with this for the price, as are my drinking mates. I don't know if I would call this an Irish stout though? Its more like the strong flavoured real ale stouts you get at beer festivals? Maybe it's just the way I brewed it, as I did everything a little longer than the instructions, with a tiny touch less water and It finished closer to 5%. If you're just starting out brewing your own and like stronger flavours, I'd certainly give this a go.

I brought this item for my husband and it came without the yeast sachet complete waste of time buying it

Beer kit itself is probably fine when brewed but it not coming with a sachet of yeast is unacceptable.

Stout kit had no yeast. Contacted seller. Reply said they were not UK based and I should contact amazon.
