I really love the needles in this kit. They include many in 3 sizes and they are quite sharp and hold up well. They come in sturdy plastic tubes with screw on tops that are great for safely storing them. Definitely nice to keep and store all your needles in. Remember to wipe a new needle off with a tissue before using the first time. They are coated with a dark oil ( to discourage rust) that will get all over your hands and discolor your wool! Some of the included items are honestly useless. The pins included are just so cheap and and many are bent or defective and don't even have sharp ends! Ridiculous. I threw them away. The finger protectors are bulky and annoying to use. I'll live dangerously and risk the occasional poke, thank you. The wooden handles are useful and worked well to quickly felt with multiple needles. The scissors work well enough to snip away excess fibers here and there and are compact enough to store in box. The box and its latch are not particularly high quality but could last a bit with gentle use. The included foam pad is good for maybe 2 small projects or so, as foam pads are. Overall, this kit is worth the price just for the quantity of nice needles and their storage tubes and the wooden needle holders . I would buy again.

I really like the handle that can hold multiple needles. I previously had a tool that could only hold one. The multi-needle tool has really sped up the process. I made this little dachshund replica as a Christmas gift for a friend!

I actually bought this for the finger gloves. Most pairs are in this price range or more and don't come with all the extras. It comes in a nice plastic case that I will put to great use. Maybe using for all of my needles once I determine their quality. It comes with 36, 38 and 40 gauges. I love the containers for the needles. I plan on finding more of these to store my needles in. The quality of the needles themselves, I haven't had a chance to try yet. Unfortunately they aren't colored. The entire needle is gray. So I will probably do that my self. But each container is labeled. It also comes with 'needle holders', which I have never used before so I am very happy to try them on my next project. Once I have given them a proper try out, I'll edit this with my honest opinion.

I did a few easy felting crafts in the past using sewing needles. They worked alright but took ages. So glad I got a set of felting needles! The difference is amazing. What an upgrade! I like the multi needle holder is customizable. The needles are a bit dirty from corrosion but a good wipe takes care of that. Great for beginners or doing repairs. For $10 it’s a great value. The box to hold them is a decent thicker plastic so it’ll last. Only project I used it for was repairing some wool dryer balls. The felting wasn’t great so pieces were falling off. 2 of the balls lost an eye! Took less than 15 minutes to secure all the felt bits on all 4 dryer balls while I watched a movie. Can’t wait to work on some felting from scratch!

The handle is very comfortable in my hand and a pretty shade of pink. The needles do come coated in oil but you can wipe them with the included cloth. Wipe from the bend to the tip so the cloth does not snag on the barbs. The needles work fine for me. I have not had any break or bend, but I am not new to this and I know what to expect.

I like to start artistic hobbies and play with them. I am very much so a bdand new beginner. I bought a little kit from a store and it came with no tools, so i hunted for some. The fact that this came with a pink handle was awesome for me! It also came with some cleaning cloths, a bunch of needles and these finger tip covers. The covers are the spotlight of my review. They are THICK. The outside some kind of leather or pleather, the inside is soft! (I dont like itchy or rough fabrics so its perfectly comfortable for me). I have stabbed my fingers multiple times attempting this little kit, and these covers have blocked everything! I only noticed cause im pretty rough and i could feel myself touching the glove. No ouchies, no pain. The smaller packdoesnt come with a mat. I ordered that separately. Great buy!

The pieces within the kit were okay but the plastic box it came in was broken during shipment. I bought this for a friend for her birthday so I am a little disappointed with the broken box and will have to find her a different box to hold the items. I think if it had been shipped in a cardboard box over a paper bag it would have been better for the product. Otherwise I think it's a good kit for her as a beginner and will help her get started on her felting journey.

So havn't used the needles yet cuz waiting for more supplies, but the kit is mediocre. Everything was ok but a little cheap and the needle containers where not labelled. The problem is actually the thread cutter, it keeps jamming and locking when a use it. I have some of these alrwady and this is crap by design. The box will also force ur tools to leave impressions on the foam. Good for price if you want a begginers kit though.

Got for my friend for xmas he absolutely loves it!! 10/10 would recommend

Needles are great !!! The foam that comes with it flattened even before I finished one project … had to go buy another one just to finish the project .

I have a pair of felted wool slippers, which wore a hole. The tools I purchased, repaired the hole wonderfully and I will get many more years of wear from my slippers.

All pieces were included in new condition. The booklet included would be more helpful if it was edited better.
