10 Litre Paper Compostable Caddy Bin Liners with 50 Bags, Brown

We like the size of this compost-ready bag, which fits easily in our kitchen's garbage-size bin. California's new 2022 regulations require kitchen-scrap composting, but they don't allow us to continue to use the compostable "plastic-type" green bags we previously had. Regular grocery-type paper bags can't handle the moisture from the kitchen scraps. This Compostable Caddy Liner has solved the problem of constantly having to waste water and effort to clean out our kitchen's compost bin. We insure that any liquid at the bottom of the caddy liner doesn't break through, by also putting one thin layer of newspaper or paper toweling at the bottom of the Caddy Liner bag, before we begin to add our kitchen scraps. No Caddy Liner has broken yet during use. We put the full liner bag in with our green yard waste bin (here in California), and it gets picked up and composted at the urban facility. We'd MUCH rather buy this excellent bin liner locally, but we haven't yet found a paper one here that stands up to moisture as well as the one from the UK. Here's hoping...there's a business opportunity for someone in California.

These bags are larger then I thought and if you fill it . I don't think it will hold everything. Mine broke with just a 1/4 filled

These bags are oversized and VERY expensive. Regular paper bags which are a lot less expensive is what I'll use from now on.I won't be reordering these bags.

Fab bags that will replace plastic bin bags in my campervan.. great to go more eco friendly..My only slight gripe that the bags are bound by thick plastic packing tape.. which slightly tarnishes the point of getting paper bags instead of plastic..Much better if the bags were bound with string or something similar.. 👍😁

The bags are fit for purpose. They arrived in a strong paper bag , plastic free, very eco. There have been reviews of this product that criticise the postal packaging, looks like this has been changed as my parcel was made of recyclable paper , no plastic in site.

The bags we had been using before changed from 8l to 6l in size and we switched to compostable plastic instead, but it always required so much clean up at the bottom of the bin after. It was much harder than it should be to find a good value 8-10l bag as a bad choice leaves you with 50 duds, and these are perfect. Will be buying again.

I've discovered, to my cost, that what is sold as compostable bags ( on the roll type) don't compost properly. Even two years later they still are stubbornly in their original form. These bags are great for composting, and are durable enough to sit in the compost caddy, not tearing when it gets quite wet. I now only use these paper type. They are also good value for money, having checked similar types. I'm not sure why they need to write on the side, as I also use them for storing apples, or putting garden produce in them, if giving as a gift. It's a paper bag, strong and reliable, and composts totally.

Very good bags, I didn't use them for their intended purpose my reason for the purchase was to harvest fruit and veg from our allotment and use the bags to carry them home even carrying heavy potatoes,When we ran out of rubbish bags for the kitchen bin they also worked well for a few days and they held up well.
