Still holds up to this day!
This Scene It? The Simpsons Deluxe Edition is an absolute blast! Weโve played it with family and friends, and it never fails to get everyone laughing and quoting the show. The questions and clips cover all the classic moments, and the mix of trivia and video challenges keeps it fun and competitive. The Deluxe Edition feels high-quality โ the DVD runs smoothly, and the game pieces and board are nicely made. Even casual fans can enjoy it, but if youโve watched The Simpsons for years, youโll really appreciate how much detail and humor went into it. Overall, itโs a perfect game night pick and a great gift for anyone who loves The Simpsons. Endless laughs and nostalgia!

Best. Scene It. Ever
As I've seen "Scene It?"s made for Seinfeld and Harry Potter, I always wondered how there couldn't be Scene It? for the Simpsons. So I just about crapped myself when I saw this on Amazon. I should also include that the one amazon sells is the Deluxe Edition and stores mostly sell standard. They cost the same, but the Deluxe has an extra 30 trivia cards, 6 more buzz cards, and the pieces and dice are all a lot better crafted. Make sure to buy the Deluxe. Anyways, the game is just like any other Scene It with games using sound clips (where you guess which character is talking), sketches to guess a character, scrambled images of characters and scenes, and most importantly, clips to watch where you either have to finish the line or answer a question. The amount of All Plays in the game is astounding. I've played through at least 10 full games and, while I do see repeats more and more, there are always still new questions after clips or new images unscrambling. Not to mention tons of trivia cards. The only things that are really limited are the 16 Buzz Cards (10 in the standard edition), which are like Chance cards. You won't go through 10 Buzz cards in a single game, but they get old pretty quick once you lap through them. The difficulty has a big range from incredibly easy questions, such as: after playing a clip of Homer jumping Springfield Gorge, it asks "What Springfield landmark is Homer jumping?". Stuff that you can get without the clip or having watched the simpsons for ten years. There are also some impossible trivia questions, asking about random guest stars from season 8 that you never had any idea had a part in the Simpsons. But I did have to rate this game a 5 in educational value, since due to these kinds of questions, I now know Professor Frink's first name and what character Edward Norton played on the Simpsons. You do, however, have to, at the bare minimum, have a working memory of character names to have a chance at winning the game. So as long as you know who Kent Brockman or Rod Flanders are, you should be fine for several of the questions. I assume most looking at this product, though, are really into the Simpsons and that shouldn't be a problem for. I honestly have no hesitation giving this Scene It 5 stars. It is probably my favorite Simpsons toy and I have thoroughly enjoyed every time I've set it up to play. Questions are heavily weighted towards the first 10 seasons, but do occasionally have question about episodes as recent as Season 20. Even a moderate Simpsons fan can enjoy the game immensely.

Best Scene It ever!
I have played other Scene it, from the original to the one they made for Seinfeld (which is very good also)... and I always though why they have not made one for The Simpsons? Well the wait is over and the result is great, the game is just like the others, video clips, trivia questions, etc.. normally the "name the character" and the video clip based questions are easy and if you are a big Simpsons' fan you'll know the answers right away... although some of the trivia questions are really hard, but eventually you will have fun learning more stuff about the Simpsons' background. If you are a Simpsons fan like me, then this is a must have.

Super fun!!
I bought this on sale and it's definitely worth the money. Very fun to play, especially with a group that knows and watches Simpsons. This is the first Scene It game I've played so I'm not too sure about the instructions or the 'correct' way to play but I've played with friends and it's fun. Some of the questions can be pretty hard if you're not a hard core Simpsons fan but I love the video clips. One thing I would say is that after the maybe 5th or 6th time playing, the DVD started to act up. I don't know if it's my DVD player or the DVD itself but it would freeze in the middle of a question and I would have to restart the DVD player.

Would be great for a true Simpsons fanatic
Bought this game from Amazon at a really low price. Played it with my niece, nephew, and daughter, and unfortunately it wasn't very fun. The questions were pretty hard and I think only real die-hard Simpsons fanatics would know the answers to most of the questions. Too difficult for the casual watcher.

AWESOME for Simpsons fans!
Finally bought this for myself for Christmas. LOVE IT. Pros: Being a Simpsons fan is pretty required. You can't fake it with this game. There's not multiple choice. The pieces are cute and the board is bright. The game is not hard and is fast paced and you can adjust the playing time to fit your schedule. Cons: Wish it was actually a console game, like on the PS3 so you don't have to manually set your timer, etc. Need an update or extension since it's a few years old now! Overall, love it, super fun, I even snagged it on a special so I paid under $7 for it on here!!! Couldn't pass it up!

An instant classic!
Finally, they've made a game worthy of the Simpsons. Having watched for most of the 20 years but being especially fond of the first 10 seasons or so, this game was an instant hit in our family. Plenty of fun questions and clips, we played the game on Christmas eve as a family and the action got quite intense. If you're a fan of the classic simpsons, you'll love this game. Better than all the other Simpson trivia games that are out there!

Hey What's On This Side?
This is exactly what you would expect from Scene It with an all Simpsons theme. This game and a partnership with the Television show make for a nice combination. For avid fans of the Simpsons, the game is a little easy so perhaps you might make a rule that you need to have the entire name of a character (even the obscure ones) to get the answer right. The game on the disc looks solid and crisp and it does NOT look like something that was just thrown together. If you like the Simpsons or are huge fans, you won't be disappointed buying this.
