Finally - something that works for me
I was looking for a product that would help me in my fitness class. I'm female, in my late 50's and have arthritis in my hands and was finding it difficult to do any exercise that required my hands to be flat on the floor....things like push ups, burpees and mountain climbers. I would do these elevated - using the edge of a bench or on a low bar on the rack.(I do planks with my forearms on the floor, an effective modification for me) If I used powerblocks as a gripping device, my thumb joints would still hurt. I've only used the wrist wedges a couple of weeks and are working well so far. They are the right size to hold on to (burpees) and and have a slight compression when using them which make my wrists happy. They have just the right angle to make the difference in my ability to do the exercises that I couldn't do before.

Not worth $20
I'm quite disappointed in this product. They may work for a slow, sustained practice, but not so well for a sweaty Bikram or fast vinyasa. LoL, during a workshop today, I was attempting to hold on to them while transitioning between poses and one slipped out of my hand and flew across the room. Our instructor laughed because he has tried this product as well. He actually announced to the class that these were unsuitable for his style of teaching. (Many students asked me about them after class)Previously, I've tried leaving them on my mat instead of holding on to them, this didn't work as my hands do not always land in the same place. So, I drilled holes in them when I arrived home and slid a strip of Lycra through to see if that would help. Nope. My hands slid on them when my palms got sweaty, then the whole apparatus slid on my mat as I dripped sweat. I tried to remain calm, but these guys really messed up my flow. They may work IF you have a slow, sustained practice. I've tried using them when practicing handstands and during aerial yoga. No luck there either. I'd send them back, but unfortunately, I've modified them.

Probably best for yoga, not so great for pushups with weak hands.
I really wanted this to work. But upon trying it out I experienced pain in my right hand. It looks like it would be a great item for someone with strong healthy hands. I like the non slip bottom and the density of the foam is nice but I found it hard to get a good grip and it still put my hands in a strange position even though I tried several different ways to use it. I will add that I bought these to assist me with pushups for my HIIT workouts but it just didn't work for me. Probably awesome for someone that does yoga. So I only gave it three stars because it doesn't seem to help someone that has weak hands in doing push ups.

These totally make a difference!
I'm so glad I bought these. I used them for the first time in yoga today, and they made such a difference! I did 2 classes, back to back, and even after 3 hours of yoga, my wrists feel great. I was able to hold poses longer and get into them deeper. Totally worth the money.

Disappointing
I bought these because I have trouble with my wrists when practicing some yoga postures, such as the plank. I was hoping they would support my hands at less of an angle so my wrists would get less stress. But the Wrist Wedges just mash down when I put my weight on them, and I'm no better off than without them.

Works just like they say they will.
I have sore wrists with ganglion cysts in them and I had given up doing pushups or anything that required me to have my weight on my wrists, but then I wanted to start yoga and there is no way around having your weight on your wrists. The first day of yoga, it was my wrists that were the worst thing and concerned me a lot, so I immediately bought these and they have been GREAT!. I have been doing yoga for a little over a month now, using these wedges for downward dog, plank and lowering from plank to the floor. They really lessen the wrist pain and let me do a lot of moves I thought I could never do again. The anti-slip tops really keep your hands on the wedges and they are wide enough to spread your fingers. A great investment in yoga.

Yoga has been painful in the wrists
These foam wedges were awkward and uncomfortable for me. They didn't reduce the pressure on my wrists at all.I have carpal tunnel. Yoga has been painful in the wrists. Unfortunately, these did not help. It is easier to roll a towel andput your hands o this type of elevation. The foam wedges cause your hands to slip.

Good tool for beginners in yoga.
First off, when I ordered the item, the color was different than the one now being advertised. After my initial shock, I moved on to trying the item. I was having difficulty in downward dog because of all of the strain in my wrists. I had only started doing yoga and I quickly looked for a way to remedy the problem. The wrist wedges were one of the more affordable solutions. They adequately supported my wrists while I became stronger. I no longer need them, but they were extremely beneficial while I built up strength in my wrists. If I could re-do it, I would probably just place a folded up towel (or something similar under my wrists). However, the design is practical and useful. If the price doesn't bother you, but your wrists do, then check this out. If you practice enough, however, you probably wouldn't need it for very long.
