I iron EVERYTHING! All our clothes are cotton. Our sheets are cotton. Our COVID masks are cotton. I have had a professional steam set up for years. It was very heavy and awkward to use. This ironing system is very very good. The iron is light weight. It irons everything very easily and very well. You can easily add water to the tank as it runs low There is a lot of steam coming out of the iron if you turn it to the top steam selection. It heats up quickly. When finished it stores away nicely. I love this system. I found it by accident and am lucky I did!

I purchased this item in October 2020 and used it mainly for quilting. I didn't like the fact that every time I pressed a block or seam and went back to my sewing machine to complete another, the iron turned itself off, and it took awhile for it to heat up again. I lived with that for 3 1/2 years. But last week, I turned on the iron and walked away to wait for it to heat up, and I smelled smoke! I turned around, and the base of the iron was smoking! IT WAS ON FIRE! I unplugged it, covered it to put out the flames, and took it outside to cool. I did not purchase the insurance, but now wish I did. DO NOT LEAVE THE ROOM WHEN YOUR IRON IS TURNED ON!!!!

I am a quilter and have a long-arm quilting business. Laurastar Lift Plus is the BEST iron ever!!! I LOVE IT!!
