Follow-up review- the awning and the hardware ship separately. The hardware showed up three days after the awning. I had originally posted that the awning came with no hardware or accessories. I was wrong. Just shipped separate.

Great and amazing awning!!!
The media could not be loaded. I put this on my 2018 Nissan NV2500 high top van. I love it! I feel like a picture is worth a thousand words so I’m posting some.PLEASE NOTE: When the instructions say to not deploy this when it’s windy, do not do what I did and accept it as a challenge. They are RIGHT… setting this up and putting it away in the wind is a pain!It offers amazing shade, looks like the build quality is good, I love the functionality so far.Keep in mind this weighs 70 pounds so take care installing it and make sure your roof can support it.

We love it!
The awning fit and installed as described. My husband was able to install it by himself but it did take a bit of work on his end to do so. After the install, it is super easy to setup and breakdown at camp. We like the adjustable legs but one of ours does tend to fall out and has gone in a creek or down a bank a time or two! As long as we are careful and pay attention when we are setting up and breaking down it’s not a problem. We wish we had made the decision to buy the awning sooner. We love it and would buy it again.

Great kit. It comes with everything you need for a trailer universal installation
This is a great Awning. It comes with everything you need including brackets and hardware to attach the brackets to a trailer that has 1" cross beams (u-bolts, bolts, nylon locking nuts, etc). It came with two additional polls besides the ones that come attached to the awning and all needed straps, ropes and spikes. It is a very generous kit. it has great coverage for a 10'x5' trailer. I will get the side walls next to get additional weather protection when needed. I have seen these walls in action at a recent Expo and it is a great kit with everything needed including great storage bags. Deploying this Awning is fast and simple. Putting it way is more difficult and it pays to follow directions and practice ahead of time so you don't get frustrated when cold or rainy. There is a method and I still find it a little challenging being short to get it all inside the bag and zipped up. There are three straps that hold the awning in place when put away that I wish had a couple of more inches of length to get them initially strapped and make synching up easier. Anyway, that is the reason for my 4 stars. If that was improved, I would give it 5 stars.

Get It
If you're considering getting one of these and not sure about the quality since it's on Amazon (that was us 🙋🏻♀️), then you'll def want to read this! Hopefully it will answer any questions you may have.We decided on the passenger side because if we are at a campsite we back in and that means the picnic tables and what not are on the passenger side. No regrets on that so far.My husband has probably gone well over 100mph with it on the truck (*zipped up*) and it hasn't even budged. We (let's be real, he) mounted it on our roof bars. The awning itself has held up in some pretty intense Oklahoma wind and rain with the poles on and tied down.We are able to open the back and side windows on our camper shell (or topper if you're from the north) with no problems. We have a tent that connects to the back of an SUV that we sometimes add on and it fits under the awning too.You ARE able to use the awning without the poles and without tying it off. We have even done this in probably 20mph winds and it holds up VERY well.We do plan to get all of the walls at some point and ditch the tent. It's super quick and easy to pull open and to shut it back and zip up.Overall, a great buy for the price!I do plan to update more with picture and video and some more details.Adding to my review... We've had this for almost 2 years now and it's still holding up great. No rips/tears or anything breaking and we use it probably 10 times a year.It has rained on us a few times and water will pool up on top if you don't tie it down so it drains off. Still 5 stars!

VERY VERSITILE 270 shade!
We had a very custom application on a Pup-Up soft-sided truck camper (Palomino SS-1240). Being able to talk w/MFG and get more detailed specs meant that we were confident that this was the unit for our need. After installation we are just more happy than ever. Its sturdy and can be managed by a single person if the winds are mild. SUPER COMPLETE accessories with quality tie-downs and stakes. You could almost tow a car with the beefy securement straps. Its configuration meant we could easily make attachment brackets and have a 100% BOLT ON application with no drilling into the camper's composite structure. One of the easiest custom application installations I've ever had.

Sturdy
So, I bought this to use while camping with a Toyota Tundra CrewMax. I have it mounted to a modified, traditional lumber rack(round tubes) using the optional mount kit and (8) 5/16th u bolts about 2" long. I was skeptical these would hold the awning firm in rough terrain as it is heavy , but it has worked fine in rugged trails. The unit covers part of the front passenger door, all of the rear passenger door, down the bed side and wraps around covering a large area behind the tailgate just to give you an idea of the area. This would be good for dirt bikers too. Here's what I don't like. You should be on really level ground as its heavy and not a lot of fun to set up. I may get better with practice, but it was such a pain to put back in its cover that I never used it during a quick 3 day trip I took. The main complaint I have that caused me to rate it three stars is that the cover bag would be perfect with a 1-11/2" more material running down its length and the retaining straps that bundle up the awning could be a couple inches longer. My second suggestion would be to insert a d ring type pin at the hinge pivot points to keep it deployed without using all kinds of cords etc. For $800+ this awning should not take the time it does to secure its deployment. I anticipate deploying this only when in a location for more than one day and because of this I may end up just selling it.
