Movie Studio Desk Lamp

These lights are great little accents. It pans, tilts a bit, the barn doors (metal flaps) move fine. They're lightweight and feel delicate, however. I bought two of them. When I opened them and put in the 25W bulb only one of the lights would turn on. I work with lights often so I was able to open it up and repair a loose connection. It works fine now, no issues. For someone without that skill-set however, that could have been very disappointing/frustrating.

It's a little smaller than I thought it would be but it's cute. We're using it in our sons movie themed bedroom. Other reviews i've read said it wasn't that bright so i had my expectations low, but it's brighter than I thought. Perfect for a night light, not to light up the room.

It's not too big or too small and shine enough light for I want to use it for. It looks really cute. I would recommend to others.

When I was little I saw these at a store at Disney World and wanted a couple so bad! We went back to the store the next day and they were all gone. I literally have been looking on and off for these for forever. And now finally I found these. I picked up two of em and use them in my home theater to add that "movie" flare. Decent quality and the perfect size, but the nostalgia does it for me, 5 stars all the way.

Looks great in my theater room but, its very small and the lighting is not good at all. should show pictutre in a real room to get Idea of size

If you can somehow affix it to a surface, it would be okay. But if you touch it, brush by it, move it, or adjust the flaps, it will tip over. The fixture is not counterbalanced by a solid and sufficiently heavy stand.

My artistic, actor of a nephew loved this as a gift for his college dorm room. It works well and it produces decent light. We only wish that the flaps moved! That would have been super cool!

Long story - had one for another daughter and had found it in a garage sale. Other daughter TOTALLY JEALOUS of this lamp and I was disgusted over the arguing. Since it was an odd unique item I figured I'd never EVER find another one! I was WRONG! My "other" daughter is SO DELIGHTED! I was also very pleased with the service I got from this seller that he was not only able but WILLING to ship it via a method that was easier for my daughter living in NYC with no door-man for private shippers to receive via USPS. I would recommend this seller to ANYONE! Promp, attentive and all round great!!!!
