Bordered Gauze, 4 X 4, Latex-Free, Sterile 25/Bx

My husband was using expensive dressings called Allevyn Life (5x5) for a highly exuding fistula. When the insurance company wouldn't cover those and they were $10 each to buy outright, I decided to look for something that would meet the need for less. I was skeptical looking at these online as the photo on the box looks as if they're more rectangular than square, but it's just a trick of the eye. These were exactly what I was hoping for! The gauze pad in the center is non-stick gauze and measures 2"x 2". I could stand for it to be an inch bigger all around, but it does all right. I can even cut a little piece of extra gauze myself and there's still plenty of room around the borders for it to stick well. These dressings stick and stay put despite the constant wetness they encounter in the dressing. We change them twice a day, and even though they stick well, they do not "weld" to his skin and come off cleanly when pulled off. Even though they are thin, they absorb a fair amount and I haven't had an issue with bleed-through yet. Needless to say, I am very happy with my purchase and will be returning for more!

i order these all the time a great value and works real well. I have tender skin and the border is a stretch tape that does not break me out nor tear my skin/. They make several types and sizes so pay attention to the size The absorbant area is the smaller area the entire dressing from edge to edge is the border gauze size Arrived real fast and great condition

Probably shouldn't score the product on shipping, but the shipping was that stupid. Each small box of bandages (5.5 in X 6.25 in X 2.5 in) was in it's own B-I-G box (app 12X15X8 in, can't measure exactly as already took the 3 boxes to recycle as they filled up my recycle container!!). Then came in separate Amazon delivery trucks. At 2 different times. With yards and yards and yards of those little air pillows that protect the contents that ARE NOT RECYCLABLE at our local drop off. Ridiculous!! Even 1 box would have been too much for the order. And if you're wondering-they are all ordered at the exact same time. Just clicked 3 in the quantity box. But to end on a positive note, they all arrived timely.The bandages are fine. Bought them before. Meet my needs well.

My grandmom is bed bound has PVD and dementia so she usually doesn't want to eat and because of poor nutrition and PVD sores are always forming on her skin and Guildnet (long term care program she has) suck at providing her with the proper dressing for her wounds so I found these and they are WONDERFUL! I buy a box at least 2-3 times a month and they work very well in dressing pressure ulcers or bed sores and keeping bacteria and germs out the wound!!

These ReliaMed 4x4 dressings were for a surgical site on my husband's knee. They prevented his knee brace from rubbing on that sensitive skin area.They are made very well and can be easily compared to any "brand" name dressing, and their lower price made it a done deal.

I purchased this item on September 7th, 2022. After trying the bandages I find they do not adhere to my skin. I request a full refund of $66.18. I will return these bandages upon receipt of a shipping label.

I got her me to help do wound care for someone and we use then on the heel. They are wonderful and work quite well. Even when they get wet they do not come off like other bandages I have seen and for the money they can not be beat. I highly recommend these to anyone who may need them.
