Work very well and quiet also
These dryer balls are really better than the round ones and the wool ones I have used over the years. I find them to be quieter and they do indeed reduce static in my clothing. I feel these are really a great investment and worth every dollar invested. Awesome product, great quality.

Like Norwex, but bigger!
One of my Norwex dryer balls broke after 10 or so years, so I needed a new set and came upon these. They were shaped just like my Norwex ones and turned out to be a little bit bigger, but very similar. They have worked well. I did read a review about not using them on high heat and double checking that the hole doesn't melt or it could break. I have only had to re-poke a hole in one of the balls once, which I did with a metal skewer. They are working really well. I would recommend these. Great substitute for my old Norwex dryer balls.

Surprising experience!!
OK, so I have to admit I was skeptical about this product, but I had tried the wool balls and they left behind white hairs on my black socks that were a pain to remove. So I thought I'd try these balls for my colored loads, and then the wool balls for my whites. Also, the dryer sheets left a white residue on some of my colored clothing (like black sweaters) that was very difficult to remove. So I was looking for an improvement.I was truly amazed when I used just two balls with my first load of dark colored clothing...the fleece jacket came out fluffy and probably looked the best I've ever seen it (I'm not getting paid for this review). I couldn't believe it. I live in Colorado where it's dry and static electricity is the norm. And there was absolutely no static in this first load. None at all! I had socks and towels and jeans...and everything came out static free and looked GREAT. I still can't believe it. But if this continues...I plan to buy another set as a back-up.I usually take out my clothes damp, as I don't like to over-dry them. So I'm not sure if there was less drying time. My perception was that the towels did dry faster. I usually have to stretch them out because the heat will cause the ends to shrink. But that didn't happen so I'm guessing that it did dry faster, and thus the ends didn't shrink at all. I do have the wool balls, so I put two of them with the plastic ones in the next load (whites) and added two drops of lavender to the wool balls, if you want a little fragrance. The only negative might be that when I took the jeans out early, they did have a few wrinkles. But I usually spray them with a little water and let them air dry, so this wasn't a problem for me. Not sure if they would have had less wrinkles if I let them dry longer.

How do these work?!?
I love Nellie’s laundry soda. I bought the dryer balls because they were rated so highly. They do everything they are advertised to do. Somehow they cut drying time. Clothes come out fluffy, soft and crisp. The dryer balls make clothes softer than clothes washed with fabric softener .

I'm impressed and amazed
I'd never tried anything like this before, but it was taking me so long to go through a bottle of fabric softener that it would get thick and gloppy, so it became a major hassle.I heard about these particular dryer balls and gave them a try. Just WOW! I don't do scents either, so this was a two-fer. My laundry came out better than I would have imagined. When I first put them in with the load and turned on the dryer I could hear them moving around because they were still quite rigid. I imagine part of that was due to the fact that the temps were still pretty low because as soon as they were in the dryer for a few minutes I could not hear them at all. After I am finished using them I put them in a baggie that I put on the side of the dryer so I wouldn't lose track of them. I just took a sandwich-size baggie, sealed it up, punched a hole in the top above the part that seals up, grabbed a magnetic hook, and stuck it on the side of the dryer. Don't have to worry about losing track of them.
