Great quality!
The biggest concern when buying hardware for outdoor use is rust. The parts included in this shade sale installation kit appear to be all stainless steel. Further, they are esthetically pleasing and great quality. If you were to buy the parts separately in SS, the cost would likely be double that of the kit. We have an extremely small yard, and used these to install a couple of rectangular shade sales (8x10 and 6x8) between our house and fence. The kit consists of 2 really nice turnbuckles (be sure to expand them before measuring and installing), 2 carabiners (not sure of test strength but would guess around 150-200 lb), 4 mounts and 16 self-tapping screws. We ended up buying 2 additional carabiners (because we used a chain to add length to 2 of the corners) and used eye bolts in lieu of 2 of the mounts. When buying this type of kit, pay attention to how many of each piece you're getting. We purchased the square shade sail kit, which has more parts than the triangular kit, but paid less. There are quite a few suppliers of these kits...so be sure to do price comparisons before buying. The supplier in the review I've written is the manufacturer, not the vendor who shipped the kit.

no screws, but for a reason
the quality of this stuff is great. If you are unsure of the quality, don't be. It is heavy enough to do the job. There are no screws included, but I believe there is a reason for that. What are you attaching these to? Wood takes a set of wood screws, steel poles need self tappers, and concrete, masonary, stucco each require a different screw. We attached them to comcrete blocks, and used Tapcon screws. It was fast, easy, and relatively inexpensive. A quick trip to Home Depot, and we were all set. I looked at the turnbuckles at the store, and there are none as nice. You may be able to get a nicer turnbuckle at a marine hardware store, but they will cost more money. This is a steal at $20.

High quality, rust proof shade sail connectors
I have used this set of connectors for more than a year now. The connectors are strong and quality is good. It does not rust at all.

Sturdy hardware
The hardware is sturdy and seems good quality but we ended up only using the 4 mounts. I could not figure out how we could have used the hooks. So for us I felt like we overpaid for this kit since we only used part of it and we probably could have bought the mounts at the hardware store. I would recommend this kit if you know you will use all of the parts to hang your shade sail. If not I would just buy the pieces you need at your hardware store.

This works fine & appears to be of good quality
This works fine & appears to be of good quality. Just got it so can't say how well it holds up to rust. No instructions included which is why I only gave 3 stars.

A great kit. Worth purchasing as it makes installing a sun shade so much easier. It appears to be built well enough to last at least a thousand years. By the way; I used chain to go between the shade and the mounting locations. I'll never have to worry about rope stretching, aging and breaking. We've had some pretty strong winds this summer, and the chain, because of its weight, acts as buffer as the shade lifts and drops.

Worked perfectly
I used the shade sail hardware kit to install a rectangular shaded sail I purchased through Amazon. The kit has been mounted for about a month now and I have not had any issue. It seems durable and made the installation of my sail simple. I really like the fact that everything in the kit is made from stainless steel. I am considering purchasing another sail soon and will like repurchase the same kit. The only thing that made installation difficult was the fact that the kit came with two turnbuckles instead of four. The carabiners worked well, but installation would have been easier with extra turnbuckles. For my next sail installation, I may consider buying kit with four turnbuckles.

Magnet sticks to it. Compared to a stamped 316 from previous set that magnet won't stick
I bought this set again because I was tired of loosing time with other sets that advertised them as 316 Marine grade stainless steel but came with a 304 stamped and the magnet will stick to those. The problem I have with this set is that I was sent a 304 stainless steel set when i bought the 316. This is a misleading ad or the seller sent me the wrong one. The previous set that i bought from BlueDot came with the 316 stamped and there is a difference when they are out weathering. 304 will rust and 316 will keep shinning without maintenance for years. The seller should fix this.

These things are quite heavy duty to be honest! I used this for a triangle sunshade to hide the direct sun on my patio table and compliment my pergola. They definitely are real stainless, all summer and now into - 30 winter and they haven't even tarnished. I did try to stick a magnet on it and it did not stick so they are true, quality, stainless steel.

Nice stainless steel kit but turnbuckles spin lose and fall apart when the wind moves the sail. To remedy this you need to find matching thread jam nuts for the threaded hooks of the turnbuckles (one is a left hand thread) or I used 3/16" nautical rope and looped it through the turnbuckle (after tightening) and the mount point eye then tied the rope ends together. This prevents the turnbuckle from spinning lose.

This item has so far held up to strong winds, rain and a 13' X 10' sun shade with sleet on it. They items have securely held up to three seasons of weather. Are fairly easy to install. Just make sure you are screwing them in with weather proud nails as to avoid rust marks on your house whatever you are securing them to.
