Book arrived in perfect condition. I shopped around for awhile to find a book with a lot of detailed pictures and information about as many gems as possible and chose this one. Exactly what I was looking for! It has reference photos for so many different gems, organized by color, and also has detailed pages about each gem with specs and characteristics organized in a nice little box on the bottom of the pages. Great reference tool. Very satisfied!

Very compact for taking along while out and about. Also very useful for someone who appreciates gems and and dabbles in jewelry-making, but is not going into the selling side of the business. Information is presented simply and clearly with many helpful photos. Gems are organized by color but it is stated that color is not the best way to identify as many stones come in various colors.

Purchased this book for a friend who is interested in gems. I think is very informative of all kinds of gems. Highly recommend this gem book.

A must have book for anyone either interested in or already active in the gem community.Very well illustrated with tons of informative photos.The information in this book is top notch!I would highly recommend this book if you are wanting too get into gem collecting or prospecting.It's also a very good read.

I like it but it d have been nice to have more pictures of the uncut, raw gems for those of us to like to hunt for them. I know I'm not going to go find a cut gem on my search.

Item arrived quickly and in perfect condition. It didn't have a lot of information I was looking for, but that's because I wasn't clear in my search. I have a big supply of minerals/stones for jewelry, but no idea what they are. I had been hoping to be able to identify them with the use of a guide with pictures.

This is bound to be a favorite of mine. TONS of colour photos and lots of info about all the gems inside. Highly recommend this book.
