awesome barends !
strong ,sleek ,kool looking and functional it gave my wrists great relieve while commuting 6 miles everyday. i hold them more then my handlebars inspite of my big hands it give a more agressive position while sprinting on flat roads......gave my riding position as well as by bike a new look .........................love it !

For its intended purpose, works well enough for me
My bike is a 2006 Specialized Sirrus LTD, which is essentially a carbon-frame road bike with a straight handlebar. For longer weekend rides (30+ miles) I need to be able to grip the handlebars from the sides (the "bus driver" grip) for comfort, which is a naturally less-stressful position for the wrists. These Titec bar ends were perfect for my purpose. Put them on at zero degrees (the bar ends parallel to the ground), and I am able to grip the handlebars from the sides as my "cruising" position on these long rides to prevent my wrists from going numb. They are lightweight and cheap too, so I can easily replace them if the get scuffed up. Good to go.

but it works great as a mirror holder
I had to machine the ID out to 24.8 mm to fit my handlebars, but it works great as a mirror holder. It is my intended purpose.

Short and a little heavy
These bar ends are OK. They're made well enough it seems, but they are about an inch shorter than I would like as my hands don't even fit all the way on them. I have slightly large hands but not huge by any means. Also, for being so short they are on the heavy side. I don't imagine that would matter to most people using them for mountain biking, but for my application they are a little heavier than I would like. The length, however, is definitely something to consider.

Size does matter...
These bar ends are so meager there really not worth the hassle of installing. You can barely grip them, and I have small hands. There small size makes them look really awful, I took them off.
