6 yr old loves 'crash landing' on the words he knows. He gets excited about playing even when it's just the two of us. He likes the challenge of finding the words as I call them out. He's quickly progressing into harder words. Love that the Dolch words are color coded by level. It makes it much easier to sort and focus on one level at a time. He is eager to move on to the next color. I printed a list of the Dolch sight words and he is very proud to mark off each word that he has mastered.

My students love this sight word game. But unfortunately, the first time we played it a lot of my discs came apart. They are 2 sided and the suction peeled one side off. One of my coworkers ordered this also and hers is fine. Much more durable than mine. I’m assuming mine are just a defective batch.

I bought this to work with my 6 year old that just finished kindergarten. I wanted something to keep practicing sight words over the summer. We just received it and have played it once so far. He really enjoyed it and we had fun playing together. I love it when he doesn't realize he's learning! It's a cute game and he liked the space ship "slammers". I like that the different levels of sight words are easily differentiated by color. However, I am worried about it's durability. As I said we have only played the game once so far and we are seeing signs of wear. As can be seen in the picture, some of the word discs are separating when the suction slammer is removed. My 6 year old isn't particularly strong, but the auctions cups do their job of sticking well. I'm concerned that after playing a few times too many of the pieces will be damaged and unplayable.

The game is cute. It makes sight word learning more fun. The cardboard discs do begin to separate. I’m not sure the game will last many years. After reading the reviews about the discs separating I made sure to show students how to carefully remove the alien.

I use this for my own 5 year old as well as my students at school. It makes the repetition of learning sight words fun for them and not so much of a chore.

I’m a small group reading tutor and my students love this game. Suction is really strong, in fact, Key is to release the seal with a fingernail or the cardboard separates. I’ve glued many back together.

It's a fun game that is great to use in the classroom. However, by the third time we played it, the pieces started falling apart. I had to glue two of the pieces back together.

Five year old and three year old play with these at game night and with our after school education. I know some customers have had issues with the circles breaking, I haven't encountered this issue after months of well loved play with these. The dexterity and speed challenge of the game is fun for my children. The different colors that are associated with different grade levels make it easy to adapt the game to my children's needs and abilities. Thank you for a well thought product and game!

I was tossing up between this sight word game and the fly swat one… and I wish I’d chosen the other one. The pieces are so hard to get off the UFO that they bend or literally break in half. We played it once and i how have to glue 4 pieces back together. They should be made of plastic not cardboard :(

I got this as a homeschooling tool to help my daughter learn her sight words. It helped a lot. It made learning enjoyable for her and she always looked forward to it. She was 4/5 when we first got it, she just turned 7 and can read by herself now :)

Classes enjoy playing this.

Great game for early readers. Several stages and good to practice sight words. A fun game!

The pieces are cheap and some are already broken after one day of use I'm really disappointed in this product
