Bissell Oxygen Boost Portable Machine Formula, 32 Ounces, 0801A

I have two cats & a dog, all who were house trained but as the kittens grew they became more territorial. Some stains & odors lingered but this formula really removes both the stains & odors without bleaching your carpet. The carpet in my living room is an almond color & did not at all lighten. However, the stains are gone &, THANKFULLY, no more odor (at all). The scent isn't entirely strong or overwhelming. The living room is lively again & it's not saddening to open the front door & come home from a long day to a smelly house. Seriously love this formula. (The kitchen is another room over to the living room so the smell often carries over). I'm allergic to dust, so, I have to clean very often. I vacuum generally every other day & started deep cleaning (with a shampoo vacuum) every weekend to every other one. This formula removes the odor very well & doesn't harden your carpet or bleach it.

This formula took out a stain that had been in my carpet when I bought my condo 16 years ago. Professional cleaners had cleaned the carpet before I moved in and said they didn't know what the stain was but they couldn't get it out. A few years ago, my sister gave me a spot cleaning machine to help clean up after my cats. One day, I had used the machine and it still had some cleaner in it, so I thought "Oh, what the heck..." and put the machine on the old stain. I set the machine to "Set-In Stain" and it went to work for a few minutes. When the machine stopped, I moved it and thought that maybe because the carpet was still damp, I wasn't seeing the stain. When the carpet dried, it was obvious the stain was gone. I use this liquid cleaner every time I use my spot cleaning machine and haven't been disappointed yet.

I bought a bunch of carpet stain removers at one time from Amazon - to "test" on our inherited beige berber wall-to-wall. This was - hands down - the best for old stain removal, when used straight out of the bottle on the stain. I was pretty surprised, too, because it came out looking for all the world like plain water. All the others had scents, were foamy, etc. But, the test photos showed the results. (I'll try to get ambitious and post them soon...) I also used it diluted - but not too much - in the tank of our home carpet cleaner, and it worked really well at getting an area around a stain I "over-cleaned" with another spot remover (removing the spot, but leave a so-clean area that the rest of the carpet showed its deeper, old dirtiness around it.) I will be buying lots more now. Glad I found this one, thanks to other reviewers.

This works very well with the SpotBot cleaner and I am always amazed at how it can pull out set in stains. I know it is basically diluted hydrogen peroxide but I haven't attempted to mix my own and have been satisfied with this product. As an add on purchase I think the price is reasonable and using the hand wand of the SpotBot I find that the cleaning can take care of a few stains easily. If you use it in the standard mode where you set it on the stain and let it go through an automated clean cycle it will use a lot of cleaner so I would recommend using the hand control on set in stains so you can control the application of the cleaning solution.

The Bissell OXY gen BOOSTPortable Machine Formula works great! We have two old dogs. Both pee inside since they pasted 10 years of age. We used the spray bottles and cleaned up the pee/stains by hand. Then we purchased a Bissell SpotBot. The SpotBot was much easier since it did the hard work of "scrubbing". We use the The SpotBot can use the OXYgen to suppliment the Bissell pet stain & odor formula as well as just the pet stain & oder solution. Together, they work great. The addition of the OXYgen makes the pet stain & odor more efficient. We can tell a big difference between using just the pet stain & odor formula and adding the OXYgen to the pet stain & odor. The OXYgen added to the pet stain & odor does a great job for us. It has made our house and our lives much easier as part of our cleanup of doggie mistakes.

Works well. I got it because it was made for Little Green machine and it would be simple to get the mix right. It seems to do a good job on the dirtiest spots. It does not seem to leave much of a residue when used sparingly although I still rinse. The Oxygen Boost definitely makes a difference. I used to add OXY to my cleaner along with the regular shampoo and now I don't have to. I used it to clean floor ans furniture in my RV after some A?C freon sprayed all over the place leaving red lubricant. This got it all. It also worked great to remove the alkaline desert dust from the carpets after a week on a dry lake bed. Recommendation- Unless you have another that you know works great get this one.

Wife said your chair if gross. Throw it out. This product was one of two I used to clean the chair. Happy wife?

I recently purchased a spot bot pet and a small sample of the OxyGen2 came in the box. When the sample ran out I simply switched to the normal cleaning solution alone. I could tell such a difference without the OxyGen. It will help with set in stains and normal dirt. It is worth adding to the regular solution because it makes such a big difference. If you have darker carpet then you may not need it. I primarily use this for removing pet stains on my very light colored carpet. It is a dream. I like to order it from Amazon because its cheaper and comes in a bigger bottle.
