A Mix of Good and Bad
I am a fan of the Kardashians, Khloe being my favorite and I was always planning on supporting their literary endeavors when I heard they would be releasing a full length novel. When I first got the book, I started reading the first few pages and was like, "what is this crap?"The way it was written was so terrible, but the actual storyline of the book with its drama and references to the Kardashians real life (if you're a REAL DEAL Kardashian fan then some of the situations in the book you will know actually happened) kept me so entertained that I read the book in two days. That is why I named my review, A Mix of Good and Bad and gave the book 5 stars. You may not like the way its written, but the drama makes the book a page turner. I definitely don't feel as if I've lost my money. If you can look over the writing style, buy the book!

IT IS GREAT STORY LAID OUT
THAT IS A VERY SERIOUS BOOK TO READ SO MADE FOR ADULTS. IT IS GREAT STORY LAID OUT. I READ IT IN HOURS AND HOURS OF TIME. BUT FOR OTHER READERS I STAY MORE STEADY SO YOU CAN SEE THE CONCEPT WHAT THE KARDASHIANS WERE TRYING TO WRITE. MAKE THE TITLE FIT WITH IN THOSE CHAPTERS. DOLLHOUSE IS FOR SOMEONE WHO WANTS LOVE, OR WHO HAS LOVE, OR IS WANTING TO KNOW WHAT LOVE IS. READ THE BOOK. IT WILL MAKE SENCE.

Enjoyable, though juvenile...
For the entertainment value, the book is a fun and enjoyable read. Nothing ground-shakingly wonderful, but worth the few hours it takes, just to pass an entertaining time. The story-line mimics many aspects of the Kardashians' real life and leaves you wondering what aspects are real and what are fictional. Some is quite dramatic if real!! The ending leaves it open for a sequel, though I wonder if a sequel is in the works...As far as the literary aspect goes, it is poorly written and juvenile. The topics are adult topics, but the writing quality and style are young adult. While it is not that there are editorial mistakes, the writing is done in a manner that is not good or proper writing but written to mimic the speech patterns of the Kardashians. ...much slang, phrases only they use, and way too much unnecessary detail! It reads as if the Kardashian sisters were actually speaking; which does give an odd feeling as it is not actually written in first person.Overall I enjoyed the book and would recommend it if someone wanted a benign, easy, enjoyable read that did not require much from the reader. Definitely a type to take to the airport to pass time. I do think it is a little over-priced for the quality of the writing, but it is also hardcover, which is always more expensive. Not best-seller quality, but not a throw-away either!

Quick, entertaining, gossipy read....
Honestly, I had no idea what this book was going to be like. I was shocked that it was so much fun to read because my expectations were..low. This book is chocked full of twists and turns, and while some of the characters could use more development, the actual plot is fairly fast paced and entertaining. This book reads like a watered down Jackie Collins book, so if you are a fan of that genre, you will really love this! I think the ghostwriter did most of the work here, with the K sisters adding details (i.e. terms like 'slore' and 'acai berry smoothie'). If you like gossip style books, you will like this one--give it a shot. I am glad I did.

Dollhouse
Sounding like an autobiography on the Kardashian sisters themselves, Dollhouse is the quinsentential gift for any die-hard Kardashian fan. Following the hilarious lives of the Romero sisters, this book explores the many crazy things one family must endure and how, with love, friendship, support, and family, anything is possible. Although this book has a few disturbing scenes (the youngest daughter Kyle falls hard for her stepbrother, one sister's boyfriend hooks up with another sister), it will still leave readers roaring with laughter and wanting more.

So Disappointed
I really wanted to like this book. I was so disappointed. It is boring and long, and unfortunately I found myself unable to finish it. Don't waste your time or money. However I would strongly recommend their Kardashian Konfidential book, it is great. So entertaining and fun, I finished it within hours. They should stick to writing about themselves and stop trying to write novels.

Unexpectedly Entertaining!
I was pleasantly surprised with Dollhouse! It may not be the most well written book of the decade, but it's very entertaining. I finished the book in one setting because I was so intrigued with the storyline. It's not hard to tell which of the K trio was inspired by which Kardashian sister, but that doesn't hinder the storyline. I sincerely hope there is a sequel to Dollhouse, I would love to find out what happens with the huge bomb Kat drops at the end!

Who Would Read This?
I have yet to figure out who the target market (or even an accidental market) would be for this book. It is written at a fifth grade level like a romance novel for pre-teens yet it exudes so much filth, obscenity and immorality that no one under 21 should be permitted to read this. Anyone over that age, myself included, should not reduce themselves to tolerating such poorly written garbage in book form. If it sells at all it would only be for the purpose of obtaining the Kardashians' autographs at the book signings. We can only hope the Kardashians use any proceeds they receive from this book to improve their educations. And I am actually a Kardashian fan.
