The filler cap on my heating oil tank was rusted shut and the delivery man was unable to make my delivery. I eventually released the cap using WD40 and a hammer. The thread on the tank was hardly visible as it was thickly covered in rust so I bought this to clean it. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised by its robust feel and appearance. It made short work of thoroughly removing the rust to reveal shiny metal on the threads on my tank and in the cap. After covering the threads with lubricating oil the cap now comes on and off with ease and the heating oil has been delivered.

A good wire brush. It's solid and feels like it will take some punishment before the bristles start to wane and flatten. It is a large brush so would advise getting a small one too for getting in the nooks and crannies. Looks better than that dirty old thing your dad used to carry in his tool bag, too.
