Good fan under every day moisture and fumes (farts, cig, smoke, perfumes)
I got 5 years out of the fan probably from the dust bunnies that made it die light still strong

Actually fairly quiet..
1. It's quiet compared to a jetIt's actually fairly quiet measuring 30 db 10 ft from the source, and 40db at the source, unlike some of the other exhaust fans here that advertise that they are under 40 db that are actually 47 db measured 10 ft away from the source and well over 50 at the source.2. its also annoying - like a popcorn kernel stuck in your teeth.even though it's quiet being made of plastic it builds up a harmonic vibration which produces noise and though it only adds 2 db raising the total noise to 42 db at the source its a random "thrum" that occurs as opposed to a constant sound so you notice it.3. is it user addressable - sort of.if you open it up and loosen the mounting screws that hold the motor in the plastic housing about two turns, for both screws then tighten the top one until the "thrum" starts to come back then back it off just a bit that noise goes away. However as the fan blades pick up dust you'll have to repeat the process as the light fan blades pick up dust.Notes for the manufacturer to fix this.1. use a motor no faster than 1000 RPM at 2000 rpm the blades as designed spin way too fast and lose the laminar flow keeping them quiet. At a slower RPM you can use a more aggressive blade pitch to keep the CFM the same. You could learn a ton from the computer industry on quiet system fans that move air. Why not look at and get some fan design Ideas from BeQuiet.2. For gods sake if you are going to use plastic for you housing make it thicker! the thinness of your fan motor support struts allows for this harmonic vibrations - you should seriously slap you design engineer for this. If you choose to not redesign your housing then the least you could do is put some vibration dampening between the motor and the housing around the mounting screws. Rubber O-Rings would work splendidly.Otherwise you have a superior product noise wise compared to all the other crap out there.

Good product
I used this all summer to pull heat from a room that doesn’t have ventilation. It was an easy install and it worked good.

Suction isn't very strong
This was the cheapest solution to replace an old fan in an old home. Both the bathroom & the kitchen got a ceiling hole that's round and hard to work with, so the easiest solution is to mount a fan into the hole, fill gaps (1/2" or so) on the ceiling with a spray foam. Unfortunately I had to hard wire it which added a bit more work. It's relatively quiet. It is a very light plastic, and the fan is definitely not strong enough if I burn something badly in the kitchen. Overall it's a "definitely better than nothing" item (not complaining for the price). I might consider another one to circulate air in a very small storage room.

Good exhaust fan
This is a very good exhaust fan, and moves a lot of air.
