Amazing story full of intrigue
Blue Eye is an amazing story full of intrigue which kept me turning the pages. It captures so many issues in such a sublime and fascinating way that I don’t believe I have encountered in a novel before. The twists and turns of conspiracy and chase in the Russian tiaga forest, and the underlying plot of a technology which shouldn’t exist ( but perhaps does) left a feeling of reality which I could only question, days after. The layers of esoteric mysticism paralleling quantum physics were so palatable and entertaining - a blend of Castaneda/Dan Brown rolled into a very believable corporate markets fraud. Immensely readable and so simply yet succinctly written, allowing those like me, who have little knowledge of the goings on in the financial sector, science and spiritual matters, to easily understand. My only criticism is that it left me wanting more!

A fun, topical and fast-paced plot, loved it
Blue Eye keeps the reader engaged at many levels as its fast-paced plot tumbles forward and swirls to a conclusion. Assuming literacy in both humanism and technology, the author enlightens us in the ways of metaphysics and physics, employing espionage, ancient landscapes, and a cross border love affair. One senses a writer engaged himself in many theatres of life, so vivid are scenes ranging from boardroom to mystical Russian tundra. While the technical aspects of the quest for costless energy are made explicit, no special knowledge is required to appreciate the personal journey of the protagonist and the final splicing of his deep beliefs with a new direction. This book is fun, topical and highly recommended. Looking forward to the sequel!

the best, and most exciting read for a long time!
When I read an average book, I think “yes, that could have happened”. When I read a good book, I think, “Well, that probably did happen”. When I read Blue Eye, I thought “there’s no way this didn’t actually happen”.Tracy has created an exciting, multi-dimensional story. It’s gripping, almost impossible to put down. I read the last half of the book at one go on a plane journey, with no distractions. I was totally absorbed.I have a scientific background, with an interest in many of the topics that Tracy introduces in the book. What makes his treatment unique – in contrast to usual sci fi “science”, is that all the scientific content is completely plausible, and all the threads connect perfectly. The best read I’ve had for a long time. If ever a book deserved a full length feature film treatment – this is it!

Fantastic - Could not put this book down.......
Thoroughly enjoyable from so many perspectives, whether it be the detail of the characters and plots or the thread of ancient and modern wisdom that links the story together. The depth of the research shines through and whether this is entirely fantasy or absolutely true, it certainly made the plot intriguing and a much better read than the average "thriller". Its themes are extremely contemporary and it would definitely translate well into a movie......Roll on the next novel from Mr Elner, if its half as good as this one it will knock spots of other books in this genre.

Excellent can't put down read
Once I started this book I could not put it down. An exciting intriguing tale weaving Russian, western and eastern paradigms into a plot that is utterly plausible. Whilst reading you can feel the author's strong knowledge of the subjects that he writes about. A rare book, combining action with deep thought from Taoism to Carl Jung, this is destined to rival the Dragon Tattoo trilogy.I can't wait for the next part of the trilogy and the inevitable film.

Great Entertaining Read.
Had me gripped from the start to finish. Lots of facts, references and philosophical theories, that alone could keep you entertained for a lifetime. Would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a stimulating page turning chase of a read. Not many books deserve 5 stars, but this is one that does. Looking forward to the next in the series.
