I purchased this filter primarily to eliminate the fluoride in my water. I was pleased to find out that the filter provided removes multiple contaminants other than fluoride such as heavy metals and organic compounds. The filter unit comes with everything you need to connect it to your kitchen faucet including adaptors and a diverter valve (you might need a pair of channel locks to remove the aerator). The unit is stylish and quite stable, with an adjustable spout. I recommend that you place it next to the sink so that drips will not land on the countertop. The only reason I down-rated this product is because nowhere in the description is the estimated cartridge life stated. The same is true on the manufacturer's webpage. Some people who reviewed the product have stated that the filter life is about one year. Replacements cost about $80 (USD). I would recommend this filter to anyone who needs small volumes of water filtered for drinking or cooking. I think a multi-stage filter would be better for larger volumes of water.

I love the easy set up, and east to use. I don't know how to check if it really filters out flouride

A quality water filter system at a good price.Since May 2010, I have used Crystal Quest products and would highly recommendtheir products.The water quality is much improved with no fluoride and filters great.The water taste is better than any bottled water I have used in the past.

easy hookup and works as claimed. I'm really glad I got this filter, thank you for a great product. Water comes out quickly and doesn't take up much space.
