Powerful suction in a very small form factor plus good service
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Very compact which meant it fit inside my existing custom hood vent housing. Moves air well and the light is bright. Controls are also simple. I thought I was missing the part that connects exhaust path, so I contacted the seller's customer service. They explained that the connection part is often shipped inside the larger hood, and sure enough that's where it was.In short, a good product that works in lots of scenarios, at a good price and with good service.Suction power:highest level of suction power at a regular priceTouch control:the controls are tucked away underneath, not at the front, which worked with my existing hood vent cover

Highly recommend
We have had this for over a year and it works great. It can be a little loud on high if you are in the kitchen, but not so bad in the dining room next door. The fan is powerful enough to pull out rangetop smoke and heat from the stove. Lights are very bright. Would definitely buy again

Easy to install, hands free operation, very loud
Things I like:+ Hands free operation for fan and lights.+ Powerful lights.+ Easy to clean, commercial kitchen style filters.+ Easy to install with two people.Needs improvement:- Internal baffling to get flow from corners by lights up to the fan intake.- NOISE REDUCTION. Seriously. It’s very loud even after you get it surrounded by fascia. Most of the noise comes from the vents so you can’t dampen it. A higher quality fan with some sort of isolation between the fan and the metal surround would vastly improve this

Pleasantly surprised!
Did a lot of searching for ventilation fans while building our new home. Liked the price and features of this fan. Product is better than expected. Installed in our new home. Builder was impressed with ease of installation and quality of materials. The different features are impressive. The strength of the fan with different settings is amazing. Lighting is bright but not overpowering. And the touch less feature is a bonus, not having to touch controls with greasy hands!!

Works great!
The media could not be loaded. You need an outlet installed behind your range hood for plug in option or hardwire. I opted for the plug-in. I needed an electrician to install the outlet because I originally only had an under-the-cabinet range hood that was hardwired.I purchased this 30in range hood to fit in a 36" decorative range hood cover. Easy installation for someone who is good with tools. I had sanded plywood and 2x2 lumber lying around so I routed out the rectangle for the face and used the 2x2s as instructed in the directions to keep it secured and prevent it from dropping down. How it works:- the range hood has the ability to be completely off where there is no power (you won't see the blue power symbol lit) or in power on mode (blue power symbol is lit). It will not function by manually pressing buttons or by using the remote unless the blue power symbol is lit up to indicate that the range hood is powered on.- light has one setting: off and on. It does not dim or get brighter- fan has 4 settings, 1 is low, 4 is high.- range hood is either ducted or ductless. Comes with a exterior cap if you use that option or a carbon filter than gets installed on the right side of the interior of the range hood. The directions explain that the range hood is going to be louder if you use the ductless option. I opted for ductless to avoid cutting through the wall.- the remote works great in close proximity or directly facing the range hood.- the two vents at the face can be removed. Pull the tab to release the tension. Place the vent back in the slot with the tab pulled, press it into place, then push the tab back to the original location so that it's flush and not hanging.

Ducted or ductless
This vent is esthetically pleasing. The hands free is great but a little sensitive. It was easy to install which was great! What I liked about it prior to purchasing was that you had the option to duct or go ductless. I chose to go ductless. However, once installed, I quickly realized that having it ductless was not the way to go. The fan sucks minimally and blows air down towards the range, making a ton of steam blowing directly at you and a smokey mess of the cooktop. I will be ducting this vent. Overall I think it’s a good vent and can’t beat the price! I look forward to seeing how it works after being vented.

Company made it right
I purchased the manual version of this fan but it sat in the box for months before we could instal it. Discovered the touch/remote version was sent. Most would love the upgrade. I just prefer manual. Many prefer automatic and/remote.I had left a review expressing my frustration. I am rewriting that review. The company contacted me and made it right.Upon installing the remote did not work and i stated that in my review. A new battery did allow it to work.I'd still prefer manual knobs but as i stated-- the company went above and beyond to make this purchase right and i am now a satisfied customer. It is apparent this company cares about customer satisfaction. It's not necessarily quiet. But i think it's because our previous fan was very quiet and to replace that fan would be $1k. A friend listened to this fan and said it's quieter than hers.Also-- i do like how this fan does not stick out past the cabinets. It is very slim fitting and it does suck up the steam and cooking smells well.
