Comfortable and well made sneaker that's easy to close
My son has cerebral palsy and needs comfortable shoes that have great support, and are easy to get into. This fits the bill. It comes in a variety of widths and we have purchased them many times. It's lightweight and durable.

Safe for old man.
Perfect fit and comfortable. I am 90 and this shoe halps me walk safely compared to cheap shoes. Easy to put on.

Good sneakers but not great.
Good sneakers but not great. I like the tan color and having the velcro straps to fasten them with makes securing them much easier than with laces. Plus you can easily tighten or loosen them a little bit with the straps. I find the fit a tad bit tight especially after first putting them on. But shortly after they get better. Regardless I wish right where the little toe is was a touch wider. I do wish they had more cushioning to them. They are just OK. Having more bounce would be very much appreciated even for a pure walking sneaker. I also notice that they "squeak" when walking due to the rubbing of the leather. Hope this goes away after they get more broken in. The price is good but would pay a little more for more cushioning.

Would buy again, but probably won't have to
Easy to get on and off, which was important for me following extended hospital stays and extremely limited mobility. I'm in my 30s but following a coma, experienced regular swelling, drop foot, and neuropathy in my right foot. This shoe has been easy to manage, easy to fit an orthotic in, and although black, isn't terribly hot it 100° plus weather. While I'm not out running marathons, I have put the shoes to good use over the last year and they still look to have a lot of life (and tread) left in them. Very comfortable as well, even with an orthotic shoved in. They do show dirt easily, as seen in the photo. They clean off well enough, but I'm not too particular about it living in the desert haha. Lots of life left in them and don't see myself needing to replace in the near future.

Delamination after one week
Very comfortable and consistent with my expectations regarding size and comfort, but after wearing them for one week the rubber sole is starting to separate from the cushion at the back of left shoe. I can probably glue it back in place, but expect better from New Balance.

Velcro straps too short!
These shoes fit very well and seem to be of very good quality. However, there is a problem! I have a very low instep and the velcro straps are at least an inch too short! When closed, the straps are not long enough to have a section that hangs over to be able to easily release the strap. Folks with a higher instep would have an even harder time with these straps because of their shortness.
