The packaging and the condition of the book was great as opposed to the other books I get from desertcart. Batman Vol. 8: Superheavy starts where the last arc Endgame left off with Gotham treating it's wounds from the Joker's city wide attack. There's a new Batman in town, and he does his work in a different way which is fun to see. Without giving away much, the new antagonist is the mysterious Mr. Bloom who has deep roots(hehe) in Gotham. The artwork is absolutely stellar and the lettering is one of my favourite. Be sure to buy this hardcover for your Batman collection. Review: JIM GORDON is the new BATMAN!!!! - Jim Gordon is awesome as Batman. This is my fourth Batman comic. Loved it. A must read for Bat-Fans.

JIM GORDON is the new BATMAN!!!!
Jim Gordon is awesome as Batman. This is my fourth Batman comic. Loved it. A must read for Bat-Fans.

Must have. a new beginning in the story.
First things first. If you are a Batman fan or a Snyder fan, this is a must have for the collection. For the people saying this isn't as good as the previous stories, give it time. Its a new venture and a new beginning with Gordon as the Batman. Takes a new twist. Definitely a Must have in the series. But for new first timers, would advice to start from vol 1.
