APIELE 19mm Latching Push Button Switch 12V DC Angel Eye Halo Ring LED Metal 0.74" 1NO1NC SPDT with Wire Socket Plug (Blue LED/Black Shell)

This switch was significantly larger than i expected from the pictures (but thats on me not the seller, its clearly stated in the ad). I am using it in my car to add some additional lights in the trunk/boot. Wired up to a fuse block with 18/2, just waiting for the lights to come in. The wiring harness is big and sturdy, no chance of accidentally grounding, if you wire it correctly. The wiring guide has full color pics, and is super easy to follow for setting up NO/NC applications. Internal LED is easily visible and actually pretty bright. Overall great product, will buy again for any automotive other switches i need. Would probably work for marine applications as well, as it has a rubber spacer ring, and a threaded nut. I bought this to control the halos on my headlights. I have halos that are red and the switch turns on the second input to make them amber. I was able to wire this so that when it is off the red halo lights just like the headlight halo. When I turn it on, the halo goes out and the headlight halo is amber (which is legal). Now I have an obvious indicator in the jeep if the halos are red (not street legal) to keel me out of trouble. This switch comes with a wiring map to help with 4 different wiring options for most applications. I would recommend this switch.

Great product

easy to install and works like a charm

Good solid switch. Needs a 3/4 in. mounting hole. You don't want to go much bigger because the switch body isn't much bigger than the threaded portion. I hooked mine up to an underhood LED lighting system on my car so when you look at the picture it shows that the red & blue wire goes to the positive lead of my LED lights... I found it easier to splice the wires together then put a larger sized shrink tubing on to them then another smaller shrink tubing on the positive lead from the LEDs then soldered them together and first shrink the smaller tubing, then slide the larger shrink tube down over the small one then heat that one up. Kinda the same with the black ground wire because it goes to my battery and to the negative lead on the LEDs. And the green wire I hooked directly to my battery with a fuse in line. The yellow wire remained unused. I ended up cutting it shorter and tucking it into the empty hole next to it... So I have it hooked to where the button LED is off until I push it to turn on the LEDs... Hope this helps some confusion

Compact and very smooth operation

I just customized my new Champion 8750 watt inverter for whole-house emergency power and used this switch as the power ON/Off for my custom built RF wireless relay setup. I love the look of it with its circular LED ring around the perimeter. Very stylish. The wiring harness is versatile for different applications and the connector plug attaches very securely. It does have an IP65 water resistance rating as well, which is just what I needed considering that it will be used outdoors on the inverter and often in bad weather. Check out my 'Tonka Toy' looking, beefy little inverter in the attached images! As you'll see, I placed this switch in the center of my black project box with 2 small LEDs on either side in 4 different colors representing various run modes of the inverter (Start, Stop, Choke & Eco Mode) and that's why I chose the white LED for the power switch. They do offer them is a variety of colors. After all the hard work and ingenuity that went into my little project I wanted a power switch that truly deserved the honor of making it all go! :)
