Use a wood block to hit and it’ll last!
If you know how to use & treat this, it’ll last quite a long time even though it’s made mostly of plastic! I am quite surprised at the abuse I’ve given this tool and it still hasn’t broken.Have fun trying to tear bullets down without this simple little tool!

Excellent way to pull bullets
Worked surprisingly well to pull either rounds with light strikes or bullets that were seated too deeply while reloading. There are 3 collets and you can pick the smallest one that would work for your cartridge size and then screw tight the head to keep the cartridge in place. Make sure you whack the bottom of the hammer not the head where your cartridge is. Use a piece of wood as the base because I'm worried whether the plastic would hold while hitting concrete and also because it has surprising amount of force that may damage whatever you are hitting. My hard wood base is all banged up after several hits.It may take several hits but eventually the bullet will come out with the powder at the bottom of the hammer. Check the head between hits to make sure it didn't uncrew itself.

This is literally the same product that is sold by Frankford Armory for double the price.

Complete junk. Failed on the fourth use. Poor collet materials.
This bullet puller looks like the one made by Frankford, but it's complete junk. I was given a big box of unknown handloads, so I went to pulling them down to salvage components. My Frankford puller had recently cracked after years of hard use (I seem to be given other people's old handloads frequently) so I decided to try this one. It failed after three pulls. The collets are apparently made out of some sort of pot metal, because the lip on the collet that interfaces with the cartridge rim sheared after pulling three bullets. The entire cartridge flew forward, I found little silver shavings inside the puller cavity and the collet would no longer retain a cartridge for even a soft tap. See attached picture for the collet metal pieces I recovered from the powder charge. So much for this piece of junk. I'm returning to Amazon. I will go pay the slightly higher price for a kintetic puller from a reputable brand.
