This ceiling light was easy to install and looks great in our hallway. Be aware that it is **much brighter than expected**—for our hallway, it was actually too bright. If you prefer very bright daylight lighting, this will be ideal, but for us it was more intense than we wanted. The quality and finish are good, though, and installation was straightforward.

Excellent lamp, smart looking and easy to install with straightforward instructions

Bought these yesterday and installed today. Easy enough to install although I was a bit confused by the recommendation of electrical tape to connect the wires. Connector blocks or wago’s should be used although very little room to fit them into the holder without pushing the cables into the ceiling which is what I had to do due to using connector block. Overall the lights work great, very bright so be warned if you go for the white light version. Maybe the natural light would be better unless you have a large space to light up.

Used to replace a standard pendant lamp above a workspace. It was fairly easy to install, I did not have access to the area above the light so had to get creative with some connector blocks. Slightly awkward to install on my own as it was hard to hold the lamp up while I wired it in without the unit dangling by the cable. Even thought it is lightweight I didn't want to put strain on the cable. I have seen similar items with some sort of hanging 'string' for such a problem, but perhaps I should have just asked my husband to give me a hand! As this was to be installed above a design workspace I went for the larger (40cm), brighter (32w) version and it's ideal, but personally I wouldn't have this particular version in a lounge or bedroom because this would be far too bright and 'cold' for my liking. I'm sure a smaller and less bright version would be slightly more energy efficient, but brightness was my priority. My ceilings are fairly low so this is a really sensible solution, I am looking for similar products for other rooms as I'm so pleased with the style. I may even buy the same again in the smaller version for my landing as I'm really happy with this purchase.

Used in my walk-in closet and it brightens up my clothing world. Just what I needed.

This unit gives out excellent illumination and is easy to install. Fit the supplied white base plate direct to the ceiling, connect the luminaire via a supplied connector strip , twist onto fixed base plate and ready to use via reconnecting supply and turning on plate switch. Simples!

Very bright light

Easy to hook up. Nice and bright.

Most of what people about brightness and fitting are correct. My issue is that it was stated in the description of the light, that if used for 8hrs per day it should last 10 years. My aver use is 6hrs per day and it only lasted 40 months before it flashed and died. I bought it expecting it last much longer. Disappointed.

I got this for two reasons-- #1 , I only have ONE eye now- and the regular light up in this office was NOT bright enough. I have to have a very bright desklight to read- even large text. It was constantly in the way, but the lens in my ONE eye left causes loss of light too- since it's for vision at 3 distances- close, medium and distant (each one reduces light a little) then #2- I do cane aikido and I have nowhere to practice in winter as the other rooms have ceiling fans for summer- and are crowded anyway. I didn't want to hit the hanging "wheel" light here so this is great- flat to the ceiling and VERY brigh light (satisfying #1 problem needs also... AND EASY to install in about 10 min.
