Can you safely feed this to pet dwarf rabbits?

This statment is wrong. I regulary feed the deer here(NJ) by spreading corn down the middle of driveway. I have three trail cams on the spot. Thru the yrs I’ve seen hundreds of rabbits and coons along with deer.All munching down on the corn.

Does it taste good? I want to make a delicious soup...

Probably not. Nothing will eat it. The squirrels come up sniff it and then leave. Even the birds won’t touch it.

Does anyone else have a problem with their pups eating the corn "shells" that the squirrels drop? They're very hard. I can't see it being safe.

I don't have a dog but I walk around the neighborhood picking up empty corn cobs left behind.
