Love it
I like the feel and comfort of using his helmet, I do rigging at a convention center and very Important to have it certified. PETZL has always had Great products for my line of work.

A little awkward!
It's very nice that you can accessorize the helmet for different job needs. Accessory like the shield and helmet light can be pretty expensive. The helmet is a little large for my head. I understand how hard hat are not like bike helmet. Mine sat on top of my head making me feel like a mushroom. After a while I don't care for how it look as much a long as it get the job done.

Superior helmet
I am a volunteer trail, restoration, forestry, and construction worker and where a helmet as required and when i feel my noggin needs the extra protection. The adjustable fit is perfect and secures better than the MSA helmet it replaces. With this Vertex, you can get attach 3M Peltor Earmuffs for hearing protection, and the Petzl Vizen face shield (a little expensive, but a good product. Now I have one helmet that supports all my different safety requirements and the Federal standards. Wish I went this route before buying the other two helmets I have.
