Drawer Repair Kit 6 Pack - Fix Sagging Kitchen Drawers, DIY Doctor

I got a vanity set that my parents were getting rid of, and all six drawers were in poor shape—sagging bottoms and bowed backs. I wasn't sure if it would work, but I was pleasantly surprised! Feeding the ribbon through the brackets was tedious, but as long as you look at the back of the box and see how to feed the ribbon, it's not that bad. Depending on how tightly you make the ribbon and how much you plan on filling the drawers, it seems pretty stable. Definitely worth the time, effort, and money compared to spending a couple of hundred dollars on a brand new vanity.

I actually could not believe this worked so well. The drawer had a sagging bottom but after using this, it is now tight and fully usable again. I did follow a video to make sure i did it right but it was pretty easy

The coiled strapping took some getting used to. It wanted to roll up all of the time. That being said that may just be how that strapping stuff behaves. I did discover that when I repeatedly rubbed/ran the strapping along the edge of the drawer bottom with a bit of force, that it did help make it a bit easier to work with. Disliked no instructions but was able to easily find a video on line to help with the install. So far it’s holding up well. I’m glad I found this and hope this saves me from having to buy another dresser.

These work as advertised. No instructions inside but a few YouTube videos help. I do wish they had pointed out that the brackets are different. I used two of the same brackets on the first drawer. I'll change it out later. I reversed the threading of the strap so it was more flush to the drawer. No more saggy drawers 😜 Much better solution than other options I saw on YouTube. If this chick can install them, anyone can. You just need a drill with a small bit for pilot holes and a screwdriver or Philips bit to screw in the screws and a little patience.

I had multiple drawer chests and sagging of drawers is a problem i faced for a long time. I was excited when I saw this product on Amazon. I thought it will be the solution to the sagging problem BUT i was disappointed after fixing this at the bottom of the drawer. I faced 3 issues: 1. In first picture you can see there is a gap after you fix it. If there is gap then sagging will continue. This is not going to support the drawer base 2. Fixing is not easy. The product doesn't tighten properly and is not easy to fit 3. The screws provided are really bad. For a product like this, screws should be small so that it doesn't come out of other side. See second picture. There was a crack visible on the front of the drawer and it almost spoiled the drawer body. I am disappointed by my purchase. This is not a true doctor for the drawer. I won't be doing a justice if I don't share how i fixed the drawers eventually. I ordered a support bracket (part no 131294) from Ikea with screws - (part no 105344). It worked and it a solid support to the drawer base. See picture no. 3 and 4. The support bar is easy to install and sturdy. Alternatively, you can try supporting / mending wedges. They are definitely better than this product where there is no direct contact with drawer base.

For something that is advertised as super easy to install and with a super quick youtube video, this is actually misleadingly difficult. Two people are advised. For one: screws came are cheap - not magnetic and not driving screws so you need a drill. My drawer only had 1 cm from the bottom, so I couldn't even use the drill since I couldn't get it parallel. I ended up buying driving screws in order to make this work. Secondly, the strap is very hard and tricky to get taut and requires some patience since the level of tautness directly correlates to the strength of this whole gizmo. All in all, probably more trouble than it was worth for ikea drawers. Next time, I'll just buy a new set.

I purchased dressers, and matching end tables for my room but they didn’t come with anything to hold it secure the bottom well. I built them myself per instructions, and even added wood glue for extra support. The dang things after about a year and a half started coming apart. I tried removing and reapplication of wood glue, extra screws and nothing worked…. Yes I own a crap ton of clothes…. But even the end table drawers that hold minimal items are coming apart. I have been so frustrated and trying to figure out what to try and I saw these straps…. I just got them today and they work perfectly awesome so far. Super easy to install (you need a drill and some scissors) and they are holding everything together super tight and didn’t impact the drawers going back into the dressers! They are so freaking awesome!!!! No I’m not being paid or anything to say this either. They are awesome. I ordered an extra box for emergencies and I’m really really glad to have them in case anything else breaks.

Great for repairs to drawers and pulls the drawer back to shape to stop the bottom sagging. Easy to fit ,just you have to play the youtube video a couple of times to see how the straps work as its bit on the fast side showing you how to fit them .also take the staps out of the box and straight them a bit before fitting as they bend in your way when you put them through the brackets. We would definitely recommend seller and item
