It would have been great to get nails with heads big enough to fit in openings and not fall out when hung. So far the ones I’ve found are too big or too small.

I love this tree spirit! Made me smile when I opened it! He's a little smaller than I expected but that doesn't take away from my rating because of measurements were given so it shouldn't have surprised me but it's still adequate and I'm very much looking forward to adding him to my yard!

Fantastic piece. Looks great on my screen porch. Sturdy and easy to hang.

I love the weathered look and face, but it was much smaller than what I expected and even though it arrived packaged well with white styrofoam box, his beard was still chipped and the resin in a spot or two actually had holes where the mold must not have filled. I didn’t mind that too much since it was toward the bottom or not so noticeable and it could add for drainage if I ever want to add real succulents. I think artificial greenery may work better? I touched up the chip with craft paint, so it’s not too noticeable either, but I shouldn’t have needed to do that. The main issue is that the back does have two screw hole areas to hang it onto the tree, so you have to have a relatively flat area of about 5- 6” at least to hang it. The back is straight, so if your tree trunk area is curved, which mine is… you’re going to have a harder time screwing it in. Nails won’t really work on this type of hanger. I hadn’t thought about having to screw it into the tree in two places, a wire could work but it’s going to make it wobbly and possibly fall. I still think he’s adorable, but if I had seen it in store, I may have hesitated on the price. Once it was hung, which was slightly difficult, so I had to ask hubby for help, I actually really love the way it looks!

Looks great on a big oak. Lightweight.Remove in a storm. Secure well with playful squirrels around.

We gave this as a gift and did not expect the reaction of the person who received it and the look of it on the old pine tree. It looks magical, very beautiful! We put a ivy in there and it's wonderful. I had to glue the metal holder in the back because one came loose. So I used epoxy putty to glue both in place and now it's solid. The thickness of the back could be better, as it's thin and we can see the day light through it. It seems solid enough but it would surely break if dropper.

I was intending this for an inside wall but water leaked but he is wonderful out side in the palm, viewed from my sitting room window.

THAT WAY I DON’T HAVE TO DRILL HOLES FOR DRAINAGE & HAVE WATER DAMAGING THE POLY-RESIN!I HAVE OTHER OLD-MAN CHARACTER LOOKING GARDEN PLANTERS COMING SOON THAT I ORDERED WITH AMAZON, SO I’LL PUT SOME CRAZY LOOKING SILKS IN THEM AS WELL! & GET THE WILD HAIRDO AS WELL!!!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESIN SCULPTURE!
