Nut Grinder by Sveico

Needed a "proper Scandinavian" nut grinder for Kransekake. Initially surprised (a little disappointed) about the size. It is very small. Because of the size it holds a small amount of almonds and takes a lot of loads to grind the amount of almonds required. My one suggestion would be to make the dimensions more obvious. However, it works great and the Kransekake turned out well.

Vary small and to small of opening for fastening to table. Wasn't what I expected cheep for the money

This is not an item one can use in a real kitchen. This is a toy meant for a child to use, not an adult. It was so tiny that it would have taken me a half hour to grind a pound of walnuts. I can't believe they have the nerve to sell something this inferior. I had to pay for the round trip shipping. It was like flushing $15 down the toilet! Shame on you "Superior" Kitchen Gadgets!

This is ridiculously overpriced, toy size, low quality grinder. Not for any serious kitchen work. May be if you are building toy kitchen for your dolls it can look like nice ornament and nothing else. Awful !!! Don't buy. Also the description written by the seller is very misleading. This seller and people who are selling this should be sanctioned and kicked out from selling on Amazon!!! SHAME ON YOU - YOU CROOKS !!!

This product is sold through Superior Kitchen Gadgets. Received the order, immediately called the contact listed on the receipt to inform them the grinder came damaged--the cylinder was bent. Very nice on the phone, suggested straightening it and would do a possible partial refund. Could not repair the grinder and have tried to call and email the contact a dozen times with absolutely no response. There is no return paperwork, there is no return address. We are not stuck with a brand new broken grinder. We are so disappointed as this is EXACTLY what we wanted and needed to make our favor Christmas cookie. We strongly suggest avoiding buying anything from Superior Kitchen Gadgets.

If your grinding almonds in this is a good grinder it turns the almonds to dust, but if you're grinding other items it just turns them to dust. Not good. They advertise this will last a lifetime I don't see it lasting that long if you're using it for other things than just grinding almonds to dust.

When I moved to the US eleven years ago, I did not realize shaving nuts for all my Christmas cookie recipes will be such a problem. Here, everyone uses a blender (I suppose it is fast and all) but blended/pulverized nuts just won't do for the recipes I have. It's a matter of texture. Shaved nuts are much more delicate... However, shaving nuts on a cheese shredder is a time-consuming endeavour and pain in the butt. My husband found this grinder in a little Swedish store in our neighborhood, bought it home all excited. At first, I was disappointed, because of the grinder's miniscule size. But you know what? It does what it's supposed to, does it fast and I'm happy. Sure, as the previous reviewers stated, there are the occasional "thick chunks that must be laboriously picked out" and the fines packed "behind the drum against the housing inner surface." I yet have to see a grinder of this kind that does not have this problem. It's not a big deal. Giving it five stars. It works, it's easy to clean, makes my baking enjoyable. There.

Eine Mandelmühle mit der man gemahlene Mandeln, Haselnüsse oder auch Schokolade fein mahlen kann. Fürs Weihnachtsgebäck (Stollen, Zimtsterne oder Bärentatzen) oder auch für die Füllung von Kuchen oder Hefezöpfe gut geignet. Stabil, gut zu montieren und auch die Reinigung ist leicht.

Nach ca. 10 Nutzungen ist die Antriebsachse der groben Reibtrommel abgebrochen. Trotz mehrfachem Zusage wurde der Mangel vom Versender nicht behoben. Die Reibtrommel wurde nicht ersetzt. Jetzt steht die Rücksendung an. Der Lieferer hat mir eine neue Mandelmühle geliefert. Ich werde über die Erfahrung mit der neuen Mühle berichten.
