Sturdy repair, no leak good fit on 15’ Durango
Used to replace a plastic OEM part. Old part was fatigued and leaking, installed with a new aluminum thermostat housing. Good fit and does not leak.

Great replacement to OEM plastic part
Great replacement for the crappy plastic part that comes on the Pentastar motor from the factory. When replacing my thermostat the other day, I noticed a crack and that part of the gasket on the stock plastic version was barely hanging on. Instead of replacing with another crappy plastic part, I went with the metal piece, and it was a perfect fit, doesn't leak, and looks great!

Great, but is it worth $20 more than the knock-offs?
I am not certain, but I think Dorman is the original vendor to make aluminum replacement for this plastic piece. But I see several other similar products about $20 less. Ultimately I decided to go all-Dorman with this piece, the Dorman aluminum thermostat housing, the Dorman aluminum oil filter housing and the Dorman aluminum upper heater hose tee. All of these are good replacements for the OEM plastic parts. They should last for the life of the car. But I could have saved money if I bought similar competitive products.

Better than OEM
2018 Ram 3.6L Penstar. Relatively easy install, and stopped my thermostat housing leak. The all aluminum design is better than the OEM plastic part with threaded inserts (the failure point on my original part).

Crosspipe Pentastar 3.6 v6
Install was easy torque spec is 97in lbs from what I've read online. One thing to do that I haven't seen anyone mention is add RTV to some of the bolts as you will see has some on it from the factory. It's a perfect fit I drive a 2022 Dodge charger sxt. Hope this helps.
