Battery for Bose SoundLink Mini I Speaker 7.4V 21.46Wh 2900mAh

12/2/2021 Seller sent a new battery free of charge. They practically overnighted it. It took awhile to install as I'm not always home. I charged the new battery and tested it. It last a long time, have not clocked it, and it does hold a charge. I have let it sit for about a week or so, and it stays charged and still last longer then standard battery. Thanks for the great service, quick response and sending a new battery. 10/23/21 Recently changed to 2 stars, due to seller is sending me a new battery, to fix the problem. We will see the quality of the new battery. Thanks to seller for reaching out. The battery does have a long battery use, after fully charged. However, if you charge the battery, and leave the speaker turned off and stored for a week. The battery is 100% depleted. While it does last longer. It doesn't hold a charge. Would not recommend, unless you plan to use, recharge and reuse daily. I may just buy an upgraded bose speaker. Purchased April 10, 2021, today October 16, 2021, its already not holding a charge

The battery on my Bose Soundlink Mini died recently and unfortunately since the speaker is so old, they are no longer covered by any warranty by Bose. I was happy to find this listing on amazon for a replacement battery for a good price as I don't plan on upgrading the speaker anytime soon. Installation was overall really easy, took a few minutes to do and was a very basic replacement. The kit also came with a screwdriver which made it really convenient since the screws are very small on the battery. The battery life lasts so much longer than it did before and i'm very happy with the battery life! The only issue was that the rubber cover for the battery doesn't match the same mould, you can stretch it out to fit but it does look kinda warped. Doesn't really matter that much though, at least I got a working speaker for my setup now :)

This product arrived DOA with absolutely no charge in it. If it were a ni-cad battery, that would be OK, but being a lith-ion, when they are completely discharged, it is no longer possible to take a charge. This product had to be sitting on a shelve for years to be completely discharged. Amazon sending an exactly replacement. Let's hope that one is OK.

Easy to install and worked great until 5 days after my return window closed. Battery lasted about 8hrs at first, then 2 months later it will only last about 15 min. Portable speakers aren't worth much when they only last 15 min. Update: I was contacted by the supplier upon writing my previous review. They offered to send me a replacement for the defective unit. I received the unit the next day. Installed and everything seems to be working great. I have been very pleased at the level of customer service i have received. They have gone above and beyond to try to fix the situation. I will try to post an update once i have continued using the item for a few months.

I have had my Bose SoundLinkMini for over 10 years. The sound is outstanding. It started not holding power, unexpectedly turned off when it was charged &/or was on the charger, intermittently would not charge when on the charger, etc. Researching it could be the base charger or the battery. I thought of replacing the whole unit but comments stated the newer models did not have the same great sound. I am so happy I got this battery. It is easy to install. I charged it for a day before using it and all the problems I was having with the unit are gone. I have the great sound back. I have had it off the charger for over a week and it is still playing. I highly recommend this particular battery.

I can start with 5 stars. It fit correctly and was easy to change. Took the charge. It seems to charge better than the old one it is replacing. (Now we need to see if it lasts.) To be able to continue to use this great sounding speaker I've had for years is exciting. Even if it only lasts half as long as the last one it would be worth it. Quick update: appears to hold charge. Still happy.

I have an original SoundLink Mini and the battery died a while ago so I used it either plugged in directly or on the powered base. I finally decided I wanted the portability back so purchased this battery to replace the original dead one. Simple to install, peel off the rubber bottom of the SoundLink, unscrew four screws, remove the old battery and reverse the process to install the new one. Five minutes tops. But, while everything seemed fine, the new battery only lasts about an hour, so not a whole lot of utility added. Maybe I'll look for a replacement for the replacement, but for now, I'll use it an hour at a time.

The battery worked as expected an was simple to install. The only tricky part was that the instructions say to discharge the battery to 3% before recharging fully to 100%. There is no way to tell the battery charge this precisely on my Bose SoundLink Mini 1, only 70%+ (Green), 20 - 70% (Yellow), or -20% (Red). When I installed the battery, the battery indicator showed Yellow, so I ran it for a few hours until it stopped working. I was worried that I may have discharged it to 0%, which it says will shorten the battery life and cause damage to the battery. I was able to then recharge it fully (took a few hours) and it seems to be working fine so far. I used it for a couple hours today and the battery indicator still shows green.

The battery I ordered for my BOSE SoundLink Mini has given the Bose a new lease of life. The battery pack included a little screwdriver which was great as I didn't have the one that was needed to fit the tiny screws. It was so easy to replace the old one and fit the new battery. This was a good Purchase and a good price.

The original battery in my Bose speaker was not holding a charge. I’ve had my speaker over eight years so couldn’t complain. Just hope this replacement has that longevity.
