Great price works perfect

i ordered what was billed at a replacement for a pleatco pcm100sv pool filter. unfortunately, the filter is not a direct replacement as advertised as the holes in both the top and bottom of the filter are undersized and don't fit. the customer service people at poolfilters biz were responsive and sent me a return authorization. i haven't yet received credit for the return and will follow up with amazon.

received filter in no time at all, but found that like previous buyers the center is just a bit too small for the canister.......after shaving the inside off it works great.....I think for the price it I am not complaining.

When the filter arrived, the end cap was cracked. The vendor quickly arranged a Fedex pickup and replacement. Once installed, the difference in design was easily noticeable. The pump requires less pressure which equals more suction. So, even though I had to do some adjusting to my pool vac, the hope is that there will be less strain and therefore, longer life for my pump.

it simply doesn't filter properly ...!!! i actually pulled my old one out of the trash and reinstalled it ... i've had this pool for 20 years and gone through many filters, but none anywhere near as ineffective as the pleatco i just got ... why, i just don't know - poor filtering material- perhaps ... i certainly don't want to have to purchase another one ...

Can't beat the price. In local store was $80.00. Hope it lasts as long as our old one, but only time will tell, but extremely happy so far! Works great!

I had to enlarge the inside opening about 1/16 of an inch to fit. Thank goodness for my drum sander attachment for my drill...
