Great Aqua bag alternative for boxing!!
Great punching bag alternative to aqua bag for more than half the price!! Bought the black color and put stickers on the top purple part (where I don’t punch) to add some personalization. Highly recommend!!

A-1 Buoy is the best bag for boxing!
Yes it is intended for boat use, but the A-1 Buoy is the best aqua bag headhunter alternative. Cheap, durable, and portable. Easy to fill with water, easy to set up.

Great
The media could not be loaded. Buy this, don’t buy an overpriced aqua bag. You can control how dense this thing is based on how much water you fill it with. I have mine filled to the max and it is very dense

Great for boxing!
First off, I would like to say that I’m a 15 year old. Secondly, I do not use this as a boat buoy. I use it for a punching bag. I have just recently gotten into boxing, and around 4 weeks ago, I saw a new heavy bag/maize bag called the aqua bag. I thought it was a good idea in theory, but it was way too expensive. I looked around on the internet for an alternative, and found that people were saying that using a boat buoy and filling it with water worked great! I decided to spend some money that I had earned doing online surveys on this. I am glad I did! I received it within a week of when I ordered it, and it had nice packaging to prevent it from ripping in the process of shipping. I first filled it up with air to test its durability (I didn’t want it to burst and then get water all over the basement). This worked better than you would believe. After having a few workouts like that, I filled it up with water. This made it weigh around 35 pounds. This worked even better than filling it with air! When I punched it, it actually felt like hitting a human. It is especially good for uppercuts, as a regular heavy bag just doesn’t work for that. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking for an aqua bag alternative.

It makes a great heavy bag!
I wanted an aqua bag for my home gym and I found other reviews that used this as a punching bag for less than major brands so I decided to give it a try.The set up was pretty easy - make sure you use a stud if hanging from a ceiling. I included pics of my set up which all components extra capacity to hold the weight. The hardest part is filling it with water. There are videos out there to help explain the process. Note most leave out that you need a nozzle less than 1/2” to fit in the hole and you need to open up the hole so water can enter the bag. I got water everywhere at the end of the process so be aware of this for the environment you are using to mount it.I’ve been pounding on this thing and it’s great. I love the rebound and less impact on joints. Note: it’s probably a harder punching surface than you think. I do recommend wrapping your hands and wearing gloves.I’m pretty happy with the purchase and glad I added it to my gym.

Polyform Over Taylor Made Every Time, but...
After consistent issues with Taylor Made buoys and fenders holding air, a friend suggested I switch to Polyform, and I am so glad that I did. Polyform's quality is second to none, and I have not had a single issue with my Polyform fenders and buoys since making the switch. My only qualm is that, even though Polyform's website states that they "include one free inflation adapter with each order of buoys and fenders," I have never received one with any of my orders.

If Your Using this for a punching bag
this is great for use as an aqua bag and i hang it in my garage. Just wanted to leave a review to help out another person searching for a better price/ same quality aqua bag. Believe it or not Ringside uses these exact ones and just rebrands them. So I did some research, I wanted one exactly like the 18" aquabag, and i found out that weighed 120 lbs on the aqua bag website. Ringside had a very close one in size that weighed 118, and the dimensions exactly 17" by 23" which is same as the A3. So i bought that oneInstallationit doesnt come with the hose adapter to fill it with water with your purchase so you need to buy it from Home Depot.this is what you need, 3/8 chain (too hang), 7/16" anchor shackle (this is the smallest you can go, smaller than this wont fit the hole of the bag), 3/8 to 1/2 inch Garden Hose adapter, it comes completely deflated so you can just fill with water.Hope this helps, thanks
