My recently purchased 2007 Porsche Boxster S does not have Bluetooth or the ability to stream music (no aux or USB input of any kind). Add to that the small footprint of the cigarette lighter in the center console which requires a tiny FM transmitter. Plus the car does not switch off the cigarette lighter when the key is removed. I needed something with a power on/off switch to avoid draining the battery. This fit the bill perfectly! I can long press the "CH" button to turn it on/off and save my battery. It works great with the Bose factory system and the bass booster makes it sound even better! The sound is rich and full and sounds as good as local over-the air FM stations. Very, very pleased with the sound and it looks great in my new-to-me Porsche! This is an excellent value for only $14.00!

My use of this device might be a little different than others but I use an iPad Pro 12.9 inch in my work truck. Obviously a big device like my iPad uses more power than a cellphone does. When I was plugging in my iPad to the standard usb car charger it never really would charge my iPad all the way to 100%. I tried out this UNBREAKcable transmitter charger because it has a USB-C connector on it(I use a cable that has USB-C on each end). Immediately I noticed a difference & it does the job great! Always charges all the way up!As far as streaming music goes it’s good with no real issues. Over the years I’ve experienced slight noise while charging a device & streaming music at the same time but I can deal with that most of the time. Sometimes if you are driving in a busy area/ downtown city high traffic area there can be some interference but I think that goes for all transmitters. It’s a very good product!

The factory radio of my 2006 RAM 1500 does not have Bluetooth connectivity, so I had to use the auxiliary port to connect it to my iPhone so I could listen to the music I’ve saved over the years.But the aux port connection has always been problematic. Sometimes only one channel works, sometimes it’s ok. I’ve taken the radio apart and have even sealed all connections with hot glue, and that worked for a long time. But eventually, the problem came back.This Bluetooth transmitter solved all those issues.It does produce some staticky noise when connected through the lighter socket, but it’s minimal and you can twist it a bit to pretty much eliminate it. I will try the additional 12-volt port in the dash to see if that makes any difference (I doubt it) but, otherwise, this thing has made my life a lot easier and I can now enjoy listening to my music without issues.And if I need to use the GPS, for example, I can do so while listening to music and I can hear GPS instructions through the truck speakers.If a phone call comes on, all I do is quickly unplug the transmitter and use the phone normally.In short, I love this thing and it works great.I hope my review is helpful to you. But if you’re on the fence I’d say get one and try it. If you don’t like it, you can always send it back. But my guess is that you’ll keep it for the added convenience.Thanks for reading!

I was looking for something that would take the place of satellite radio by using the huge music library in my iPhone. It needed to hook up instantly and play music on powering up without doing anything on my part after being initially set up. This meets and exceeds my expectations for that. It connects to my phone's Bluetooth immediately. My radio is left on and tuned to the right channel and this device remembers that frequency setting while powered down. Other than unlocking my phone to start the music app I don't have to do anything else to get music playing. This makes it superior to Bluetooth transmitters because it powers up by itself and it doesn't have a battery that needs to be charged. The device is very quiet. There is very little static and no alternator whine in my Honda. The sound quality is good but you have to turn the volume on the phone and stereo up pretty far for it to be loud enough for my taste. So minus one star for sound quality for that. But I don't mind it that much because the device is quiet and so there is not much hiss at high stereo volume. Still 5 star for being hassle-free.

I have been trying for about a year to find a device that would allow me to use handsfree in my vehicles.The problem started when I purchased a new iPhone.It was not backward with my vehicles.It had 5th generation Bluetooth and my vehicles were 2nd and 3rd generation Bluetooth.This device works well with the iPhone and the vehicles.Thanks you very much for this device.

Looks great, connects easily and ease if use is amazing. The down sound side is sound, music without sound is silence....if you can't turn up the volume what's the purpose...get that straight and this is an amazing product but for now thumbs down

OMG this little device is a lifesaver!!!! I have an older car like with a cassette player and of course the cassette player doesn’t even work so I couldn’t go with the cassette tape converter option. So for the longest time I’ve been having to listen to the radio which is basically 90% commercials smdh. I had heard of these devices because my friend had one and so I ordered this one and I am so happy I did!!! It is really good quality feel and look. The sound is amazing too. There’s even a little button on it that boost the bass and wow it sounds great!!! It’s sleek so nothing all bulky poking out of my dash. Also neat all the ports it has on it! Changing songs with the little dial makes life so much easier and makes for a safer ride on the road now having to look at my phone. Also how I can take and make calls is so simple. This product is a must for anyone with an older car like mine and I can’t believe it’s only $20. Definitely worth more.
